BIG Brother bosses Endemol want to make a brand new reality TV show where fellas battle it out to be a sperm donor to a wannabe mother.
The programme - dubbed Make Me A Mum - will see men compete against each other to impregnate a willing woman.
Hopefuls will be whittled down to two finalists - one picked for his biological compatibility and the other on personality and looks.
The woman will then choose who she wants to win, according to Yahoo News.
The show has yet to be snapped up by any channels worldwide and has been slammed by critics.
But Producer Steven Weinstock said: "It is our intention in the new year to go back and re-ignite the pitch and revisit some of the (US) networks we received a positive response from."
Some of the US networks? Any guesses?
After the "Who's Your Daddy" debacle, I doubt this one will ever see the light of day. Of course, it was only about five years ago that "Who Wants To Marry a Millionaire was foisted upon us and greeted with shock and horror and look what that has spawned. An entire genre of shows. So, I guess I won't completely say this thing is over.
"Who's your daddy" just seemed sort of mean-spirited. I'd actually be interested to see which man a woman would choose as a sperm donor and why. I can see why that might be morally objectionable though.
It's hard to see how this get on TV or why anyone would watch.
Women already solve this problem routinely. They either get pregnant from a boyfriend of some type or they have artificial insemination if they don't want paternity complications.
What's the thrill or excitement here? I guess I don't see the suspense angle. To say nothing of the moral issues.
Waiting for the next new Reality Show: "Who Wants to Boff This Fine Babe?"
Nice.. "Who Wants to Leave their Deposit in a Cup?"
...not w/ Helen Thomas, Mollie Yarde and/or $hrillary Klintoon. ...WARNING! where are those Pic.? :^)
This show will be followed by "Who Passes the DNA Test and Pays the Child Support?"
