The worst part about this is that if the owner had been able to cook worth a darn, this all could have been avoided. All that was needed here is a simple Peking duck.
[rimshot]
One lucky dog.
The song that it brought to my head was from Klaus Lage, also from that time period.
It was about a guy that got dumped.
Etz'at, ma'klur
(Ok, I get it...)
Zer'vuss, macht's gut
(See you, do well...)
That is what people told me my lab would do as she approached the two year mark. She WILL NOT stop moving unless she is in her crate. Won't even lay down for more that thirty seconds, and I am not kidding.
So9
I will tell you a story. I wrote a song entitled "Buster", and this is the story. Buster was a little Boston Terrier. You know a little flat face, black and white. Now my collegue Dr. Jones told me that his son and Buster were best friends when his boy was about 8. The boy loved that dog. Dr. Jone feared the little dog would get into the busy street by their home and worried. One day Dr.Jones got up and backed out of his driveway and there in the road was little Buster. He knew his boys heart would be broken. So he went back into the house and told the boy. His boy just dropped his head and slowly walked away. Well, later that morning there arose a thunderstorm with lightning and thunder. Dr. Jones looked for his son, but could not find him. Finally he looked in the back yard and saw his son slowly walking in to the car port area. Now the carport area was an area that did notl get much sunshine and was devoid of grass,...just dust. Dr. Jones opened the door and there stood his son. He reached down and cupped the boys face in his hands and lifted his face upward. Big crystal clear tears traced down his cheeks. And as he looked at his little boy, the boy said, "The rain washed Busters footprints away."
I had to write the song.
Actually, though, my tagline quotes a different song than '99 Luftballoons' and the "super high-tech jet fighters."
My tagline is from Falco: Der Kommissar.
Welll, where is it, you dang tease????
No the same song.
Actually, "alles klar, her kommisar" was anothor famous song...about the east, wanting free from Communism.
You need to relax.
I would post it but I don't know how to post music. I've had trouble before. But this is the real honest to goodness story. Here we are 2 grown men sitting in a radiology office swapping sad stories about our dogs and how they died, almost both of us in tears. "The rain wased Busters footprints away". That is as heartbreaking as it gets.
Well, I'm misty-eyed. I love my dogs.
Swooped down and grabbed it. Crazy animal was pulling so hard on it, it was tearing my hair out! No matter how I swung my arms or threw my head around, that bird would not let go! (Glad no one had a camera!)
I finally got a stick and started swinging it over my head as I ran for the house. The bird let go just as I went inside the door. I almost beat my own brains out!
The crows visible in my area are big suckers, they actually scare ME. When they land in a pack of eight or more, it's intimidating.
Didn't even hit the rim! lol
[they -love- hunting even "Mommy" forbids capturing anything]
Do you know, "99 Luftballoons" has an entirely different meaning in german. It is about the loss, when the country ran out of pilots.
That is how germany lost WWII - they ran out of pilots. In the song, the line is, "Keinen Duesenflieger mehr."
No one left to fly the warbirds.
Hello Judith Anne. Please tell these freepers that I really did write this song. Ms.Feather would have to post it though.
