Looks like Mr. Gardner is getting some more help from someone that's been there.

Strictly speaking, I don't think Gardner is a "whistleblower" in the usual sense of that word.

Thanks for the update on this fellow, timpad!

Mr. Gardner deserves our thanks for what he did to reveal Kerry for the fraudulent traitor that he is.
I hope he sues his former employer for this and wins!

I respect the fact that he was willing to suffer for what he beleives. Unless you prefer John Stewart's take on the Swifties "the ironically named Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, who are neither swift nor truthful."

What help can Gary Aldrich provide?
Is he going to hire him?

Perhaps "help" of the same nature we (FReepers) provided: $

Gardner was on Bill O'R the other night. Bill appealed to North and South Carolina employers and business peeples to contact him (Bill) regarding hiring the veteran.
I wonder how that's turning out.

Since this will get a lot of Vets, I need to ask a question. a friend of mine died on Christmas eve. he had served in Korea, and VN. It has been really hard because he was not expected to die, and was treated horribly by the hospital and Dr. (Misdiagnosis) I have spent the morning going thru his things, packing and all. I found a leather case and in it he had his SS Card and a few other important things, but what ended my work was a ring. It had his initial, a golden eagle, and on the sides it had 2 bronze leaves and 2 silver. The funeral home said he could be buried at Arlington. I just wonder if anyone can tell me the significance of the ring, since it apparently meant a lot to him.

What help can Gary Aldrich provide? Don't know, haven't found any reference yet other than what's in the release.

Steve Gardner, member of the effective 527 group Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, is getting legal and financial help from Gary Aldrich, former whistle-blower and president of The Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty. Gardner, also know as "The 10th Brother", was one of two men who courageously refused to stand with Senator John Kerry at the Democratic convention.

I would agree. I would also assert however that Aldrich does fit that description.
