Article One of the Bill of Rights versus the aclu.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Article One of the Bill of Rights

I'm sure everyone recognizes this as the first amendment of the Constitution. Many have interpreted this to mean "separation of Church and State". But nowhere in this amendment are the words "church", or "state" to be found. However there is a statement there that protects us from Congress prohibiting the free exercise of our religion.

The ACLU, under the guise of defending civil liberties, has used the faulty interpretation of Church and State separation, to undermine many of our nation's Christian expressions. Among some of the ACLU's victories are cases involving the defense of Communists, anarchists, Ku Klux Klansmen, and those who tried to overthrow American government. Recently, the ACLU attacked the city of Redlands, California for displaying a small cross in their city''s seal.

I am confident that many out there would love to do their part in defending religious expression, but unfortunately they feel powerless

You can join the fight against the ACLU and their ilk by becoming involved with and supporting the following organizations:

Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) - http://www.alliancedefensefund.org

Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) - http://www.thomasmore.org

American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) - http://www.aclj.org

The Rutherford Institute - http://www.rutherford.org/

Stop the ACLU Coalition - http://www.stoptheaclu.org

Here are a few examples of how two of those organizations are fighting back:

ADF Contacts Over 3,600 School Districts Over Attempts To Censor Christmas

ADF: 700 lawyers ready to fight ACLU lawsuits

ADF: Pentagons' Warning About Boyscouts Is Absurd

Thomas More Law Center: Town of Palm Beach Pays $50,000 In Attorney Fees Apologizes To Women In Nativity Lawsuit

Additional information:

The ACLU must be destroyed: Joseph Farah supports Boy Scouts, urges Americans to fight back

Citizens mobilized to stop ACLU (seeks to consign group to 'ash heap of history')

ACLU fulfilling communist agenda

The Preamble to the Bill of Rights

Effective December 15, 1791

PREAMBLE
The conventions of a number of the States having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution.

Thanks! We need to pull together in this fight against the United Nations Socialists in America that call themselves democrats, and who have set up their Hate America First front groups like the ACLU so that they have "plausible deniability"...

Just like this last election, conservatives everywhere need to band together even faster, and push harder than ever to run the United Nazis (United Nations Socialists) agenda into the scrapheap of history.

I would take that a step further: Not only is the phrase "separation of church and state" not in the Amendment, it is not located anywhere in the entire Constitution. In whole or in part, explicit or implied.

Keep in mind, the US Supreme Court ruling that created this separation did not use the Constitution as its basis. It used instead a letter written years after the fact by a man who was not even in the country when the Constitution was ratified, let alone drafted (Thomas Jefferson).

The separation is a myth because the decision that created it was and is wholly unconstitutional.
