While satire and humor are effective mediums for promoting a view, no matter how divorced from reality, you would do well to look to an infinitely more talented malcontent Gary Trudeau for guidance. There was a good thread earlier this morning about "blue states" and how they, geographically, are mostly red. The blue has been marginalized into Urbania. I think we are over crediting them by surrendering an entire state. We've all seen the "Bush Country" map. I wish I still had the link to this, the red/blue map of NY (by precinct), perceived to be one of the bluest is decidedly red. Shocker.
