This one is great, it takes a moment to figure out what it is.

I pray for all those suffering and those lost.
However, I don't want to know what this is and please don't tell me. I blush easily.

Come to Nevada for your winter. The skiing areas got about 20 ft. Lake Tahoe got about 12 feet of snow in 10 days. I live down on the East side of the Reno valley and I've got 3 ft, the West side has about six in their front yards.
All the residential streets were straight ice until the night last before last when they finally got around to bringing in a grader to level it out.
This morning was 18 degrees, tomorrow morn is supposed to be 10 or 15.

The man sitting down with the white towel over his face lost his wife and three daughters when their home was crushed under the mudslide.
From what I could tell on TV a section about 60 feet deep broke loose and came down in about 2 minutes.

Here's what the past 24 hours have been like in West Michigan:
Yesterday morning there was 8 inches of snow on the ground. Thunderstorms rolled through around 11am, and then fog as thick as I've ever seen it stayed around until around 3pm. By then, the temps were in the 50s, and all the snow was gone. Last night at 10pm, it was 62 here, with another round of thunderstorms around 11pm. Today, it was 27 and snowing. The critters can't figure out whether to store more nuts, or to mate!

Not sore, Abigail, just really, really, really humbled.
I was amazed to see the Twin Cities paper the day or so before the game when it held out no hope whatsoever for the home team.

Ahhhh, I knew there was an explanation for the Twins playing indoors at the Metrodome.

Takes more than a moment.
I still haven't figured it out.
I'm thinking some sort of time/multiple exposure, but "of what?".

Well, our game the previous week was full of mistakes and embarrassments. And it's kinda just "our way" around here to not expect too much. So people were really surprised when we won. And as I said, we are keeping our expectations low so as to not be too disappointed, dontcha know!

It's a photo taken from several floors up looking down on a snow covered street, the two people in the crosswalk, and many tire tracks in the snow from cars driving into and out of 3 driveways.
