They have worn out any "right" to special considerations...
They have become the "enemy within"...

I hear you. It's a good ten years since I fell for that "good intentions" line. These people have evil intentions, and the consequences are no accident.
As far as I can see, the last liberal worthy of respect was (is?) Sargent Shriver. When he fashioned social programs for Jack Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, he was so honest in his desire to help the poor that he kept painstaking stats that ultimately showed just what a failure his programs were. After that, welfare statists refused to keep and publish reliable stats for their programs.
As I said, I fail to see how a police officer's justified shooting of a criminal could be thought of as "tragic."
Alright, alright. I hear you, I understand you, and in the case at hand (but not all cases), agree with you. But if the writer had said the same thing, I wonder if anyone would have published this article.
Like Poppy did for W when he got that drunk driving ticket in Kennebunk a generation and half ago. Liberals simply don't understand that there are some people who do what is right even when it appears to cost them. What else they don't understand is that the cheating they do is more costly than all their temporary gains won via deception.
