Kerry Criticizes Election Outcome At MLK Day Breakfast [Sore-Loserman ALERT]

BOSTON— U.S. Sen. John Kerry, in some of his most pointed public comments yet about November's presidential election, invoked Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy on Monday as he criticized President Bush and decried reports of voter disenfranchisement on election day.

Kerry, Bush's Democratic challenger, spoke at Boston's annual Martin Luther King Day Breakfast. He reiterated that he decided not to challenge the election results, but went on to say that "thousands of people were suppressed in the effort to vote."

"Voting machines were distributed in uneven ways. In Democratic districts, it took people four, five, eleven hours to vote, while Republicans sorted through in ten minutes - same voting machines, same process, our America," he said.

In his comments, Kerry also compared the democracy-building efforts in Iraq with voting in the U.S., saying that Americans had their names purged from voting lists and were kept from casting ballots.

"We're here to celebrate the life of a man who if he were here today would make it clear to us what our agenda is, and nothing would be made more clear on that agenda that in a nation which is willing to spend several hundred million dollars in Iraq to bring them democracy, we cannot tolerate that too many people here in America were denied that democracy," Kerry said.

This man's bones are made of arrogance. . .

He is a life-long 'self -promoter'; humility has never been his to experience and when pretending a call to the noble. . .he emotes on the crass.

If only, Kerry could/would. . .go wind-surfing. . .forever.

I'm sick of playing nice to these people. This is another form of war people. This kind of rhetoric along with their efforts to challenge the electoral college results shows these people are going all out. There is nothing good about this man or that party. They are wicked people. Look at the results of Bush's praise on the Kerry daughters. In that one Newsweek after the election-one of Kerry's daughters went on to say there is something dark and bad about Bush-that he isn't a good man. These people are insane and yet Bush tries to act like this is acceptable. We do not need a GOP that makes this acceptable. They need to be called what they are.

"One of the talking heads on Sunday..Nora O'Donnell.said that Edwards was far ahead of Kerry in lanning and organizing for 2008. I guess he won't do a "Lieberman" and wait for Kerry to decide...so we may well be treated to the sight of the 2004 Dem ticket lambasting each other on the priary circuit.."

That would be just hilarious!! Those 2 would have to be the front runners, and you know the silky pony can't open his mouth for more than 5 minutes without stepping in it big time. If he would have been the front guy this go round, the campaign would have been even funnier. He had the advantage of nobody really listening to him this time around. If people really hear him talk it'll be a laugh a minute.

Eleven hours to vote?

Only if you count the time it took to get from precinct to precinct to vote illegally.

Wish someone would post the location of the Republican Voting Areas. I had to wait over an hour in November and as a Republican I shouldn't of had to wait more than ten minutes. I must have been in a Democrat voting precinct.

And who is responsible for procuring and distributing voting machines in 'Rat districts? 'Rats! I'm tired of Bush being blamed for 'Rat screwups during elections.

Do you have any combat skills?

I still say he should apply for a new job. I hear there's an opening for the Deputy Chief of Police in Baghdad.

What a nutcase; a homely one at that. If there was voter fraud and disenfranchisement, it was on the part of the DEMOCRATS!

"And another thing. Aren't the Democrat voting districts run and operated by Democrats? If there weren't enough voting machines, who's fault is that?"

This is the best part of the silly lie that Jesse Jackson and now Kerry are propagating. In Ohio (I'm a Buckeye), voting is controlled by a county election bd. which contains 4 members, two of each party. If there is a problem in a county, the D's are in on it--by law. Also, most of the problem counties are controlled administratively by Democrats so there is no possibility the R's have rigged anything as the election bd is 50/50 and the rest of the authority is D controlled. Look for an AP piece explaining this LOL

Ah yes, but note that he said 'thousands' and not 'millions' of voters were 'suppressed'. President Bush won the vote by more than 3 million, so Kerry still knows he lost.

Read in between the lies.

Sad, sad, attempt by Kerry to placate the redmeat liberals within his own party.

Most left-leaning district have a far higher population density than rural Republican leaning areas.

Of course such obvious facts probably slipped by Kerry's keen intellect......

Kerry is way too egotistical to admit it was because of his own mistakes he lost the election. Kerry is one of those people who will point the finger at everyone else before looking in the mirror. If Kerry looked in the mirror, he would probably see lots of fingers pointing back at his botox injected face.

The Dems won in Washington State's Governor's race by claiming every vote needed to be counted (and counted and counted). To the dems it was a winning strategy there - must be a winning strategy in 2008. Just planting the seeds now. Outrageous.

"I'm sick of playing nice to these people"

Why stop 'em? This sort of crap is what has cost them the last three election cycles.

I'm guessing the average Avon Lady would whip this Boston Metrosexual in a fist fight. The above average ones too!

Kerry, not only are you a sore loser....you are also a liar. And, we all know it.

Rest assured, Mr. Kerry, that your legacy is nothing more than a fleeting footnote in history.

Agreed. The combat skills stuff was just wishful thinking on my part, should your dream come true.

I loathe that man and while I'm ordinarily a rather reserved person, I would like nothing more than to have him be the first person sent to explore Mars. By himself. Without enough fuel to return.

What has Kerry ever accomplished? His claim to fame is to marry a rich widow. Kerry image is one of self-promotion and bad mouthing others. Kerry is a professional protester from the sixties who probably smoked too much pot.
