Ah, see my problem here is that oddly decorated nipples and f-words aren't something that would usually upset me. That's probably the culture gap between the UK and the US. I guess if the 'we' that you mention is insisting on trying to clean up everyone's language, then it's a valid point.

Personally, I like a little bit of passion and naughtiness from my rock stars, but then I am a filthy-minded Brit, so it's to be expected.

I'm not a prude and I can appreciate the same. It's just that the line is getting blurred as to what an audience can expect at a para-Inaugural event. It's different if you intentionally go to a concert to hear someone you know uses foul language.
