I lived in Western Kansas for five years. During that time I noticed quite a few areas, usually in the Eastern part of the state, had liberal representatives.

I never understood that as those places are basically conservative with a large liberal minority.

As near as I could figure, it was basically apathy on the part of most conservatives, who are more interested in living their daily lives than politics.

I did note that in 1994 some of those liberals were tossed out. I think the assault weapon ban awakened a sleeping giant. I hope those people stay alert to what is going on.

No I am not kidding. Any economic crank in a storm. Hatred of capitalism is the bottom line, the rest is tactics - with this sort.
