DC Freepers are awesome! You all have a great time... it doesn't get any better this.

I'll be cheering with happy tears from California.

Look for Freepers wearing white Pajama Patrol badge t-shirts with the word 'Marshal' in red letters on the back

Very cool.

Maybe it's a good thing the ANSWER jerks have to sit in bleachers?

Great job, Race! That prissy Chris should never be allowed to forget his rude behavior to Michelle.

Congratulations to the DC Chapter! Free Republic is getting routine mention on Fox News as the Pro American Group at the Inauguration. This is Great!

Wish we could be there with you, but we are with you in spirit.

On Scene Report Number One:

kristinn has been in line for the security screening for about 15 minutes and they haven’t moved a bit. He says it looks like it’ll take at least an hour because there are about a thousand people ahead of him.

Over the phone I could hear some impatient line-standers (kristinn said they were lefties) yelling, “LET US IN! LET US IN!!”

Also scattered in the line are RabidRalph, BufordP, and Dutchy. Weather is overcast and breezy. As he reported last night, the sidewalks were cleared of snow last night.

If you plan to go to the Inaugural Ceremony, you better be en route already.

And because of the security checks, if you plan to see the Parade, you might want to head out soon!

Free Republic is mentioned on the Washington Post site.

Two opposing activist groups have staged regular demonstrations in Washington since President Bush's 2001 inauguration. Now, anti-Bush protesters and pro-Bush counter-demonstrators are vying for attention once again as the president prepares for his second term.

Check this link, then click on "Free Republic".

Since y'all are going to be there, please be on the lookout for my daughter, Lions Daughter, who is in the Auburn University Marching Band. LD is a freeper and just as pleased as punch for being at the inaugural. This was her first time voting, she voted a straight republican ticket and now she gets to further honor and be honored by playing for President Bush in the parade.

Here is how to find LionsDaughter:

The parade is divided into five sections, representing the different sections of the military. The AU band will be the 23rd unit of the Air Force section, the fourth section.

Now as the band comes to you, look for the row of tubas. The band is eight people across. LD will be the fourth person from the left, putting her almost in the middle. She plays tenor sax. So, look for a blue tenor sax player directly behind the tubas.

She's blue because she's cold up there. It would be so cool if someone would call out her screen name to her as she passes. That would just be icing on the cake.

BTW, she may be attending the Freeper Ball tonight.

Wouldn't you like to see a celebrity death match between O'Reilly and Matthews? Actually Matthews would get his wuss whooped, on second thought it would be more entertaining to see them debate.
