050119-N-9951E-067 Alue Bilie, Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 19, 2005) - Young girls salute in their best form for a photo taken at one of the camps located in the town of Alue Bilie, Aceh, for civilians displaced by the Dec. 26 tsunami. Teams from the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO), currently aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), are conducting surveys in the region of Aceh, Sumatra to determine the needs of the victims of the tsunami that struck South East Asia. Great photo.
My thoughts:
Cute children!
Eyes full of hope and no fear.
Liberal heads exploding knowing these three young girls now think American servicemen and women are the good guys...
Nice to read ping
great picture.
Excellent reply to a great picture. My thoughts exactly. I love it when the libs get slammed.

WoW! Glad the UN and it's subsidiary are 'surveying' and 'determining' so these poor people can get some help.......eventually.
(snicker) Sorry, couldn't resist :)
Despite silly statements by people in the Indonesian Government, the general populace are very friendly and generally bear the U.S. no ill will. IMHO, having been there many times.
For our domestic enemies, the worst thing is that it's our military that's doing the helping.
I'll second that. I enjoyed my time working in Jakarta in 2003. The people were very nice, even though they were struggling through Ramadan.
The heads of all the "kill all the muslims" types are probably exploding too.
Ahh. I don't think so, dfwgator. My experience has shown me there are not many of the "kill all muslim" people around.
There are PLENTY of "Kill all the muslim extremist terrorist scum" people around, of which I am one.
Great riposte!
I really like your tagline, but I think it would be better if it said:
"Who says we can't find common ground with our terrorist foes? They want to die for Islam, and we want to kill them."
I like it!
No telling how many Indonesian (and other) friends we'll get from the
FANTASTIC efforts of the US military personnel.
But at the least, it's better that some of these kids experience some cognitive
confusion when they hear their imams start b-tchin' about "The Great Satan"
in the years to come.
It might make them at least hesitate to answer calls to Jihad in the future.
Cuties - great shot. BTT.
