I am starting to get the same impression. Some part of me believes that all of this is being orchestrated or tacitly supported by the mullahs to buy time to complete their nuke program. “Don’t attack our facilities or you will loose the support of the people.” Something stinks here.
Bottom line is the military. Will they turn their guns on their family and friends like the Chinese? Or will they stand aside as the Russians did? All real prospects for freedom depend on this question. The only alternative is the Iraqi model.
The one thing they must understand is that the clock is ticking and the hell storm is coming one way or the either. They should act now before its to late.
I am neither liberal nor part of a cabal but I am not surprised that rather than answer the question you chose to go this route.

Why? Afraid of discussion?
MY support is for the STUDENT MOVEMENT, specifically. But I make my overall position clear to my congressman, my senator, my president and my vice president. I support the youth of Iran, where I can. Check out the website link, I've helped them. I spend time explaining to others WHY the students should be supported.
I don't have to answer to YOU what I have or have not done. Naturally, I have few resources at my disposal. The vast majority of the student movement is underground, hidden from the mullahs in charge. It isn't like I can call my buddy in Iran and offer him encouragement. He lives in a closed society.
WHAT should I do to please the likes of YOU? Nothing.

What is the "this" that we should take advantage of? There is no evidence given of any movement or revolution in this "article" that has no source cited, other than a blogger's site.
I would paraphrase you and say that these people will lose hope if THEY sit on their hands and do nothing. Posting daily promises here is not doing anything.
