But we all knew this...right? Just more confirmation of the sick MSM's agenda.

The world's media is liberal and anti-U.S. That doesn't mean that the people of the world are either liberal or anti-U.S.
Young people of the world TEND to believe whatever they read/see in the media. Not all are as bright as the young folks here on fr.
Those with brains in the world will see the media for what they are -- manipulating leftists with their own agenda. Those with no brains will follow along with the media and they will continue to wallow in their ignorance.
The brainless are hopeless. The young can grow up and allow the fog to clear from their brains. It usually happens.

Thank goodness for this site, the Internet, talk radio and Fox News. O'Reilly's book for kids is a flat-out winner for the young who are being brainwashed by the media, Hollywood and the "role models" puffed off as being heroes or someone to emulate.

Gee, LTC Ryan, you really should learn to express yourself. Tell us what you really think, be open and frank.  </sarcasm>

What hurts most of all is the fact that men like LTC Ryan spend more than one damn minute of their lives thinking about the MSM and their agenda. He clearly believes their actions are endangering his troops. It must very difficult to tolerate in that situation. But can anyone remember ONE incident of the troops becoming hostile and mistreating reporters? I can't.

There are many forms of courage. It appears LTC Ryan has been vested with several of them.

Before the posts start showing up saying this has been posted before, I'd like to say...

POST IT EVERYDAY!

It has indeed already been posted before, but it can never be posted enough, and I saved in in my book marks

I wish our military would get on the offensive and get LOUD about the lies the MSM is telling about Iraq! We're all sick of it and it's down right criminal they way they are portraying this war, only to give aid and comfort to our enemies, the terrorists.

It's high time the men and women in our military start complaining and speaking with one voice! It would shame these vermin and expose their anti-American agenda.

More and more of our troops are coming out and publicly chastising the media for their blatantly distorted coverage of anything relative to Iraq.

On several occasions, I've watched the soldiers in the chow halls shouting "Turn that crap OFF!" when CNN or MSNBC was on the screens in there.

They've been showing a lot more Sky News now, which is a little more balanced, but could still do a much better job of covering the progress that is being made here. Seems we never hear anything about that in the media.

When things get hot here and family and friends e-mail me with concern about what they're seeing on the news, I tell them "I'm OK. Turn off the TV. Just turn it off; you are not seeing a realistic picture of life over here."

Thank you for posting this. It needs a wide dissemination.

LTC Ryan is an excellent writer who makes the point as well as any military PR type I've ever read or heard. Not too bad for a "grunt".

I recently learned that the First Cav Div has been putting out regular news items and articles for the media but the MSM has largely ignored these "good news" reports.

The media is it seems is only interested in reporting negative things from Iraq.

Wow! That is great, glad you posted. Actually, I started posting only last week. Will continue to do my part to put news stories here that the liberal media wouldn't dare to touch...simply because the truth is that Iraq is looking better, and things aren't as bad as the media makes it. Now if they reported something positive on Iraq, that would make Pres. Bush look good..they don't want that. I hope more and more people start reading this site, tell your buds Insp. Morse, anyone you know about it. Hope to spread the truth. :) Thanks, --Fee

You know what I wanna see????

The media out of combat areas. I am tired of reports that we are "abusing" people or that some Iraqi (terrorist) was unnecessarily shot (remember the incident over the unarmed "insurgent" in the building pretending to be dead?).
There are people still being abducted and killed over there now, remember all of the beheadings, where is the MSM then? They are sure to point out such "atrocities" from our soldiers (this is war)that don't even come close to what Saddam did to his own people or that we don't give detainees at Gitmo 5 star service. It's totally ridiculous.
