More and more of our troops are coming out and publicly chastising the media for their blatantly distorted coverage of anything relative to Iraq.
On several occasions, I've watched the soldiers in the chow halls shouting "Turn that crap OFF!" when CNN or MSNBC was on the screens in there.

They've been showing a lot more Sky News now, which is a little more balanced, but could still do a much better job of covering the progress that is being made here. Seems we never hear anything about that in the media.

When things get hot here and family and friends e-mail me with concern about what they're seeing on the news, I tell them "I'm OK. Turn off the TV. Just turn it off; you are not seeing a realistic picture of life over here."

Fee:
Like someone said earlier...thank GOD for this website and might I add..the Internet. The best news comes from people who've been over there and can tell you firsthand what's happening. Also from sites like OperationGratitude. I always love checking out pictures of progress and smiles on the children's faces. It makes me feel good...again...do you ever see them in the media??? NO! 'Course not.

Thanks. The photos I posted came via email to me from a person who doesn't (yet) get her news from the internet; they had been forwarded several times. I had already seen them a while back, but was very happy to see that they're making the rounds of "regular folk" (as opposed to us "news junkies").

The masses are awakening, slowly but surely. The old MSM and the rest of the "hate America crowd" are on their last legs.

Well, if you go to the Internet, you'll find a web link from the Al Jazeera home page to CNN's home page. Very interesting.

Aid & comfort should still be treason. Hope all the alphabets fry in hell...

Thank you Kaslin, this is very nice of you. And to all others: keep these things coming (the piccies I mean), brilliant stuff. One can immediately grasp that these are not acted or coerced.
It's a safe bet that coming Sunday will be a watershed for all liberals/leftists. They will have to acknowledge that they had the wrong premonitions. And then they will walk shamefacedly red for months...
Good riddance, Morse says!
