for 26 years... A nation has been suffering for 26 yrs and no one listens to them!

LONDON, JANUARY 23: Britain has drawn up a case against military attack on Iran amidst fears that US President George W. Bush may seek its backing for a new conflict, a media report said on Sunday. British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw has produced a 200-page dossier that rules out military action and makes the case for a ‘‘negotiated solution’’ to curb Iran’s suspected nuclear ambitions, The Sunday Times reported. He will press home the point at a meeting with Condoleezza Rice, the incoming US Secretary of State, in (snip)
To overthrow the current Islamic administration will have to be by force. You do not suppose that they would just fold up the tent and go away because of a student demonstration. To overthrow them would require the backing of people that have a vast monetary resources and that could control the economy.
Regarding Flight 655 that is another story that was played on the people for sympathy.
I believe the relation between two nations is so important and we need to maintain it in order to let them understand that they are not alone if they rise!

Regardind strikes on nuclear facilities, I recommend to be careful. Loosing the support of the Pro-Us Iranian population will be catastrophic.
I am pro-Bush and pro-Sharon but like Doctor Zin, I oppose any strikes and military action who might turn the pro-US population of Iran against us.
The Mullahs are desperately seeking this military action.
It's up to us to disappoint them and instead, favor Regime Change by the Iranian people.
How? Give them political, moral and FINANCIAL support.
Anyway, US and Israel have confirmed that there will not be any military action.
Ledeen himself has repeated, yesterday, that there's no need for a military intervention in Iran.
I think that we should hear his wise advises.
He's a great man.
