They've been trying to dislodge Tom DeLay for a long time.

He's effective and they can't abide by that.

Lesley Stahl is a well-preserved corpse, disguised as a television journalist.

They really have no shame over at C-BS, don't they? The legacy media liberals will do anything to further their agenda - including taking down Majority Leader Tom DeLay. The good news is C-BS' audience will keep on shrinking.

"Which delay are they investigating?

The DELAY in voting in the full Senate for Rice and Gonzales?
The DELAY in OIL-FOR-FOOD heads rolling?
The DELAY in Kerry releasing Military Records?
The DELAY in prosecution of Bill Clinton?

Stop the DELAYS... /sarcasm"

Excellent!!!

Good One, Sam! Sadly, I doubt that they would even recognize it.

You need to find a credible source. A Los Angeles "give away" rag ain't a credible source.

Since 1905, it’s been against state law to raise or spend corporate money in Texas.

This is B.S. There are rules and limits to raising and spending corporate money by Texas campaigns, but it is not illegal to do so. You do have to bookkeep it carefully and avoid commingling it with individual contributions. It can be used on limited overhead expenses, but not direct or indirect campaigning.

I guarantee that House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has his lawyers and accountant make sure that he is absolutely within the law on campaign fund-raising and spending. He knows that he is a target for the rabid left and is not about to risk his seat for a few extra bucks.

Give me a "credible source" that disputes the story's interpretation of the basic facts in the case..
Then I will gladly listen to your argument..

Go back and read my ORIGINAL post..
I don't really give a d**n if it's Delay or Kennedy..
Rebublican / Democrat, Conservative / Liberal..
If a politician breaks the law, I want them held to an extremely high standard, and severely punished..

It doesn't make any difference to me..
If you (and others) wish to blindly defend Delay, go right ahead..

The point is that DeLay did not break the law. But apparently that fact is inconvenient for those with an agenda like you and that L.A. rag.
