The simple fact that there is any type of leak at a facility like that should have folks worried.

The fact that a technical non-event gathers this kind of publicity should instead give you comfort. The levels of regulation and scrutiny theses facilities operate under is like no other industry.

Your chances of death or injury from any nuclear facility are infinitesimal compared to other industrial risks we take for granted. Recall the chlorine spill down south a few weeks ago? That's the kind of stuff you should worry about.
