A senior Israeli official said yesterday the Palestinian Authority, even under new President Mahmoud Abbas, is promoting genocide against Jews and has been running a propaganda campaign similar to that seen in Nazi Germany.
Israel's Diaspora Affairs Minister Natan Sharansky held a press conference to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, in which he blasted the PA for disseminating what he said was Nazi-like propaganda, and presented a report, "Kill a Jew – Go to Heaven," compiled by Palestinian Media Watch, an Israel-based media watchdog that monitors incitement in Palestinian society.
"As in Nazi Germany, there is an entire 'culture of hatred' in Palestinian society today, from textbooks to crossword puzzles, from day camps to TV music videos," Sharansky said. "Calling for the murder of Jews, as Jews, is the end result."
Report co-author Itamar Marcus, who directs Palestinian Media Watch, said Palestinian television has consistently promoted the message that "the Jews are an evil force, and [evil] is inherent to the Jews, and therefore they have to be killed." vThe report accuses the PA of constructing a "legal file," a virtual propaganda outline for incitement against Jews that uses as its template incitement from Nazi Germany. The file, the report said, consists of three phases: presenting Jews as subhuman and possessing evil qualities; convincing viewers the Jewish nation threatens the existence of Palestinians, Arabs, and the world in general; and concluding with the Palestinian version of the "final solution," the destruction of Israel and elimination of the Jews.
The incitement plan, said Marcus, is directed by the Palestinian Authority and carried out by the PA's religious, political and academic elite, and through the PA-controlled media.
At the request of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Abbas during the run up to the Palestinian elections Jan. 9 met with the head of the Palestinian Broadcasting Authority and reportedly asked him to filter television programs to prevent the broadcast of inciting material. Since then, Marcus said, the frequency of Palestinian programming calling for terrorism and the destruction of Israel has realized a slight decrease, but anti-Semitic and anti-Israel propaganda has continued unabated.
Earlier this month, PA television blamed the Jews for causing the tsunami in southeast Asia, and preached the destruction of Israel and the U.S.
"The Muslim remembers how the Jews corrupted the land ... . They invest in the East Asian countries, which were destroyed [by the tsunami] because of the Jewish and American corruption and destruction," said Palestinian preacher Sheik Ibrahim Madiras Friday during his weekly sermon broadcast on PA television.
A week before that, Palestinian television featured a senior PA academic, Dr. Hassan Khater, founder of the Al Quds Encyclopedia, saying the killing of Jews is mandated by the prophet Mohammed.
Khater, quoting what he said was Islamic tradition, told viewers, "Mohammed said in his Hadith: 'The Hour [Day of Resurrection] will not arrive until you fight the Jews, [until a Jew will hide behind a rock or tree] and the rock and the tree will say: Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'"
"The world was largely silent in the face of Nazi anti-Semitism in the 1930s, with tragic results. One hopes the international community will learn from the mistakes of the past and take meaningful steps in response to the promotion of anti-Semitism by Arab regimes today," Dr. Rafael Medoff, director of the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, which focuses on how America and its allies responded to Nazism and the Holocaust, told WND.
The B.S. continues from Abbas and the PA. If Abbas, who is supposed to be their elected leader, can't stop the PA t.v. from broadcasting the anti-Jewish propaganda, made up of whole cloth, then WHO CAN? Obviously, Abbas doesn't want to stop it. Which means he is another LIAR like the AIDS infected ARAFAT, and U.S. meetings with him will be more PUPPET SHOWS.

What Muslims fail to recognize and if they did it would scare them to death is that the Tsunami was Gods way of punishing Muslims for their hatred of their fellow human beings.

Quite the contrary. I can't speak to the whole Muslim world but the Arabs are very conscious of history and most certainly do teach it. They probably put more emphasis on history than most Western countries. The problem when it comes to Israel a/k/a the former British Palestine is that they accept the revisionist history that their leaders prescribe as truth. If you were taught a lie as the truth all through school you probably would too.
The reason President Bush's use of the term Crusader struck such a negative chord in the Arab world is that the Arabs treat the Crusades as recent history. They have a very long world view.
Similarly, they look at the example of the Crusader kingdom in what is now Israel and figure that they can, with time, destroy Israel just as they destroyed the previous European attempt at colonization in "Palestine". What they fail to realize and their revised history doesn't teach is that Jews are native to the area and aren't colonists.

Sheik, you've caught on. Jews and Americans can cause movement of the earth's tectonic plates, thus bringing on earthquakes and their resultant tsunamis.
Maybe we should threaten all the mooselims with scores of tsunamis, earthquakes and hailstorms if they don't cease in their ways. Maybe this is the REAL solution. We could call it the Storm and Awe campaign. (/sarcasm)

Really? I thought Indonesia, with the largest Muslim population in the world suffered the most. Call it collateral damage.
Right now, the human race is at its worst. Just look what is going on. Iran is developing nuclear weapons, Muslims are killing Muslims which goes against the very core of their religion. The UN is advocating abortion throughout the world. Gods words of love are being ignored.
