WHO'S NOT....

1. MICHAEL MOORE

There will be no Academy Award for Michael Moore this time around -- in any category. The filmmaking polemicist's anti-Bush screed, Fahrenheit 911, was shut out across the board by voting members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, receiving zero Oscar nominations.

Like his plan to influence the presidential election with the film, Moore's Oscar strategy blew up in his face and ultimately turned out to be counter-productive. The egotistical leftist chose to keep Fahrenheit out of the documentary competition -- where he had won two years ago for Bowling for Columbine -- because he was smugly confident that his new film was a lock to get a best-picture nomination and probably to win the top award.

In his hubris, Moore totally misread the mentality, standards, and traditions of the Motion Picture Academy, just as his malevolent books and films over the years have demonstrated that he doesn't understand America or ordinary Americans and hasn't a clue as to what makes this country tick.

Thus, Moore's Oscar strategy backfired in much the same way as the film itself had backfired in his efforts to use it to turn voters against George W. Bush. While Fahrenheit commanded a large audience, made Moore tons of money, and got a lot of laughs, his over-the-top trashing of the President changed few minds among undecided voters and was so vicious and mean-spirited that it probably gained Bush more sympathy -- and votes -- than he lost.

More important, Moore's film and others of the same ilk served to mobilize Bush supporters -- energizing the President's conservative base and contributing to the record turnout of voters who marked their ballots for the Republican candidate. In his victory speech, Bush could easily have thanked Michael Moore for his invaluable assistance during the campaign.

After the failure of his film to win over voters, it had to be a crushing blow to Moore's inflated ego to realize that it also would not get him the plaudits he craved -- even from the left-leaning Hollywood community that shares his political views. But except in his narcissistic fantasies, his one-note political polemic was never seriously in contention for best picture of the year.

What Moore really needs in order to gain recognition from the Academy is an award precisely tailored to his unique talents -- perhaps it could be called the Leni Riefenstahl Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Peddling Anti-American Propaganda.......

Poor Michael. Deservedly ignored by the Academy.

Probably crying in his Big Whopper -- poor baby.

I would like to thank Michael Moore for his help in reelecting George W. Bush. The voting public can think and decide much to Moore's chagrin.

They have hidden some of their members names as they do not wish to publicly be listed.

Liberal losers spent money on the film and they were going to vote for whomever ran against President Bush anyway.

But then Moore goes overseas and says in speeches that Americans are most stupid people on earth. Well, he had money from all those liberal losers to prove that point.

He didn't count on the intelligent people that shunned his movie by refusing to put money in his pocket and not vote the way he wanted them to.

I'm searching for the more complete list for you. World Net Daily posted the complete list a couple of years ago under the title, "The Enemy Within".

I'm searching for that story now.

P.S. Once I find it, I'll post you the link.

Joseph Farah is the author. I'm looking for the specific segment which had the more complete list. DSA for a long time had it posted on the very first page of their website under their "progressive Caucas" which was a list of the entire caucas. They have changed their format in the last couple of years and have hid their original "Progressive Caucas List".

I'm continuing my search for you.

The left has exchanged it's icon, Michael Moore, for a new icon. Hilary Clinton who tells even bigger whoppers than MM.
