They actually came to the floor of the debate. I thik it was timely. And I don't think they are yahoos.
There is something racial about this Rice flap. (Note to self: I will try not to say "Condi" because I wouldn't have said "Cap" or "Colin.") The Dems are especially attacking her because she is the trifecta: a black conservative woman. If many more black conservative women show up and become prominent, the Democrats will slide from minority status into the same oblivion to which the Whig Party has been relegated.
One should be asking what all these rich, white Democrats have against people of color.
Maybe the rabble rousers will leave the Democrat party...

I think so too. They believe it is okay to attack her because she is conservative. But what they fail to understand is the older blacks will see this as an attack on their civil rights and a racist move. They may not agree with the republican party but this move appears racist because someone is holding up the confirmation of a qualified black. Forget the media blitz about her being an aunt jemima and all that. Older blacks probably did not even notice the hoopla, but this is noticable. Not confirming the most qualified person in the history of the position is taboo.
NOW only supports women who support abortion on demand. They really should change it to NOLW.

Nothing. They are wholly owned by the Democrat Party.
This is an important point. It seems to me, that within the black community it might just be that the women are the leaders. If the black women are won over, or in this case, maltreated, this has the strong potential to backfire big time for the DEMs.
This looks like the beginning of the end to me. We can only hope.
