The Fox Blocker (V Chip for Fox News...BARF ALERT)
http://www.foxblocker.com/ ^

Posted on 01/27/2005 12:31:36 PM PST by paltz

Purchasing a FOX Blocker and telling the advertisers at FOX News why you did it will encourage advertisers spending their money somewhere else.

If we band together and tell the advertisers to shut the FOX up, we can help limit the scope, or at least the profitability of FOX News.

FOXBlocker is an innovative new product that filters out the FOX News network. Simply screw the filter into the back of your TV and never be exposed to right wing propaganda again (at least through FOX News). Using a proprietary technology, the FOXBlocker works to filter out FOX News from your cable lineup.

Protect yourself and your family, or send one to a misguided right wing friend.

Priced at JUST $8.95, the FOXBlocker is a wonderful way of telling the advertisers at FOX News that you are no longer interested in being exposed to right wing propaganda.

With every order placed, FOXBlocker.com will send an e-mail in your name to the TOP 10 advertisers at FOX News letting them know that yet another subscriber has opted out of FOX News. With a little luck and a lot of volume, we can shut the FOX up!

Isn't anyone who'd want one ALREADY not watching Fox News?

More laughable liberals.

The other networks are REALLY getting desperate. Time for one of the big 3 to disband. I'm guessing CBS.

$8.95 to purchase something whose sole use is better served by just flipping the damned channel? If you ask me, the people who buy this thing are the most gullible people in the world.

ROFLMAO!! If anything this will increase advertising on Fox. Advertisers like to know who they are reaching with their ads.

Too bad there is no way to "filter" libs.

God forbid there be a successful right-leaning news source. Libs love free speech, but only when it applies to them.

Now why didn't I think of that? I've no problem taking the libs money and spending it on Fox's advertiser's products.

Is this a joke?
Why not save their $ and not turn to the channel that has FOXNews in their area?

I could make a million just telling these nuts how to save the bother and the bucks. How dumb do you have to be to spend money on something like this?

Good grief, they could feed a few starving 3rd would counties children with the money they waist, and still have enough money left over to buy a clue!

What if the children turn the channel from watching SpongBob to watching Neil Cavuto?

The next thing you know the kid is asking "Why does SpongeBob lives in a pineapple and aren't the capital gains taxes too high if he were to decide to sell it?"

It's for the children.

It's a pathetic little line filter that you have to select to suit your cable station channel and then put it on the cable line yourself. $9 + an extra five for shipping, plus a Paypal cart checkout. AND MOST CABLE BOXES WILL ALLOW YOU TO DELETE CHANNELS FROM YOUR LINEUP ON THEIR OWN!

A service of Mokipoke Enterprises, LLC.

This is either a nutty liberal, or someone playing the nutty liberals for the fools they're too willing to be.

I don't see a point in this. Nobody takes FauxNews seriously anyway, except for right wing maniacs. For the rest of us (ie the ones who are insane neocon bigots and pathetic Jesus freaks), FoxNews provides great comedic entertainment. Don't ruin the fun! Where will people go for escapism if they can't watch FauxNews?

Its easy to laugh at this. But while laughing, we should never forgot there is a fascist element to modern day liberals.

They wont fight for your right to say something they don't agree with - they will fight to put you in prison for saying it (or fine you, or get you fired from your job).

There are a LOT Of liberals that would put FOX out of business if they could.

Maybe we should go along with there attempt to call themselves progressives, since there is nothing liberal about them.

The libs are apparently not smart enough to figure out how the republicans filtered out the lib stations. The republican method has made CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and CNBC irrelevant. A remote control is way too difficult for the libs to use.

We republicans are are least smart enough to know that we need to tune in once in a while to the lib channels to stay abreast of their nonsence and anti-American rhetoric.

"This is all about symbol over substance. They want to send emails to advertisers about evers consumer who bought this product. So typical of these twits."

LOL I didn't even know about Foxnews until about 12 months ago. I kept thinking people were talking about the regular Fox channel and their news hour.
A person isn't bombarded with FoxNews ads at every turn; one has to actually find it.
It is a cable news channel, not some sort of subliminal message airway that invades while we sleep. For crying out loud, is the left running out of things to cry about so they have to resort to inventing a device?

I just wrote them and said I want them to work on a new product for me, since I've already blocked CNN and CBS on my DirecTV remote. What I really need is a blocker that would automatically change the channel from Fox News to the History Channel when ever a liberal comes on. I asked them to get back to me ASAP.

Subject: Foxblocker gimmick

I just found your web site from a link on Free Republic, and I think it's great! I only wish I'd thought of this scam first. There are a lot of gullible people in this country who would never turn their channel to Fox News but will still be sucked in by the symbolism of blocking it to prevent ideological contamination. I hope you make a pile of money with Foxblocker; both you and your customers deserve it.

Good luck!

I don't think it has to do with LAME BRAINED DEMOCRATS. I think the people pulling the stunt are afraid that ANY democrats who happen upon FOX may get hooked on the channel and, god forbid, finally learn the truth and start thinking like a republican. Truth, via FOX, is very dangerous to the democrats. The democrats are in a very desperate fight to keep their voters and FOX is very dangerous to them.
