I suppose the transcript of that bit is available somewhere, but I'm VERY sorry, m'friend -- I don't know where. I'd love to have it too! WHAT a riot!

Yee-aahh, baby. WTG!!!! Thanks!

Your next mission, Mr. Phelps, should you accept it, is to locate the video of that routine by Webb and Carson. To refresh your memory, it was staged by alternating both their faces in blackout background. The NBC archives have disavowed any knowledge of the performance of this routine, but the Secretary is aware of at least one remaining video copy. Warning! Rollin Hand is compromised; you may not use him on this mission.

Really a great job, mate! (HOW did you find it so quickly? I've looked for it before....sigh...)

Too early to tell with Armstrong.
How many "retired" athletes come out of "retirement"? Plenty.
I do like and admire Lance, though. He just destroys the surrender monkeys..

Foy your eyes only.

Top Secret Mission.

I will attempt to contact retired agents within the, USA, SS, CIA, FBI, AM&FM, AC/DC in locating Ilya Kuriakan, Maxwell Smart, Agent 99, Matt Helm, James Bond, and Special Forces' Stephen Seagal, John Wayne, John Dillenger, Annie Oakley, Zorro, Tonto, Trigger, and Lassie resources to track down the video transcripts.

James West and Artimus Gordon have already turned down my queries.

We do have the new F22 Raptor which is a stealf fighter resource working with radar positioning systems to locate friends and foes alike, we may be able to use this resource.

Then again, since we repaired the Hubbel last year, we may be able to engage NASA resources to reposition same.

SAJ, I will keep you informed and engaged on this assignment.

Remember, trust and verify, butt, the Klingons are not your friends around Uranus.

Cheers my friend...

Thanks. I thought he said he quit. I suppose its possible that he went back to smoking as its hard to quit.

There was a photo posted in one of these threads showing Mr Carson waiting to see some movie. The Avaiator? Anyway, for him to die from emphasyma it surprised me that in that picture he isn't on oxygen or anything. Nothing to indicate difficulty breathing. Know what I mean?

I grew up watching him and agree with most everything you said. He was a class act. He treated his guests with respect even when some of them were a tad strange.

When are we going to see the stories about how smoking extended his life?

Because it didn't.

Carson simply wasn't forced out. I know this because someone VERY close to me was a writer on his show for 19 years (right up until 1992). Carson, in the late 1980s crowned Joan Rivers as his permanent guest host with the idea she would take over when he retired. She, unfortunately, got greedy and tried to go up against him with a show of her own. The rest, of course, is history.

Carson was thinking of retiring as far back as the 1980s. I'd rather trust my source over a Canadian news source any day.

Well, sir...

You can keep ALL that lot, provided only that I have a private and detailed interview with Ms. Emma Peel.

:^)

(btw, what's the little emoticon for a mildly evil leer?...)
