Freepers, check out the settlement. It's in PDF form and I don't know what I'm doing.
http://www.terrisfight.org
Thank you. This deserves it's own thread...
luvya babe!!
So, it isn't about the money. It's about killing the witness.
So he just wants her dead, eh?
It sure looks that way, doesn't it?
I've come to believe it's about Mikey getting his own way. The only memories she could probably have are those after the injury. Maybe he could be worried about that. But I think, first and foremost, he's a control-freak who must have everything his way. He hates the Schindlers, and it's all about beating them. JMO
Terri ping!
If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
BTTT
He wants her dead
If Terri recovers after moving in with her parents, is there any way that Michael could plausibly claim that he was not responsible for her continued condition?
Attempted murder more than 10 years ago is legally meaningless. But the ongoing crimes would be sufficient to put Michael, Felos, Greer, et al. in a world of hurt if they were proven.
bump
sarcasm tag on. No. He just wants to fulfl her wishes. /sarcasm tag off
Let's hope this link will work. I was having trouble with the other one.

Now did you have to do that? You'll get them all cranked up again! LOL!
He was- as part of the settlement. That's the kicker.
Yes. Dead and cremated. She's evidence to his crimes against her. Dead she can't possibly cause him any problems. Besides, it's not like he's got a conscience or anything--the evil b@stard.
For attempted murder? I will read the letter again.
1st-Thanks for putting this on a seperate thread.
2nd-Noway are you a techo-idiot.
3rd- I am a techno-idiot;been a member here since 2003 and still can't start a new thread. floriduh voter and others have tried to help me post new threads but ....
truly yours,
CR (the real techo-idiot)
Hey, I resemble that remark!
Looked like immunity to me. Mention of no furture court involvement.
Thanks! This one is much better! Sharp/Clear much easier to read.
Yep, Michael is in this for the control. Felos is in it for the $$ and the fame. The rest are in it to push forth the euthanasia agenda by which helpless Americans are put to death without their express permission.
I've been stalking Lifenews and Terri's site all day for updates. The second there was one, I hopped on it. I guarentee you that many people do the same, but I can't guarentee you that they all Freep. Hence the post.
That's how I understand it as well.
But Michael really is that evil. Actually, I think he might have some external pressure now from lawyers and euthanites and the ACLU. If maybe he would accept, now he can't because Felos' agenda depends on Terri's death.
Absolutely right! He didn't realize he would get this far in over his head. If her parents had offered this to him before Felos took his case on, he would've snapped it up!
[snicker'n] Yeh and George & Michael
Denny Crane: "I want two things. First God and then Fox News."
Lol.
George, Michael, and family members! They might get banned every time they post but that won't stop them from lurking! ;)
Can someone post this to their individuals locales. I already did Florida and the United States here on Freep in regards to the following link.

Here is the link to the document as well:

ping and bttt.
Also do not forget to think of the counter arguments to rejecting the settlement.
First settlement negotiations are not going to get in front of the judge pursuant to the procedural rules.
If he is really sincere (and there is actually money left) a possible posture for him is to offer the mother and father all the "inheritance" to just go away.
He can also counter by showing there is no money left.
Whatever posture the mother and father take, it has to be from the perspective that the husband has won up to this point.
Sorry bout the last post I made to you...blonde moment LOL.
God must love these people very much. He has prevented them from committing murder all this time. It must be so frustrating for them! : )
So we go back to court on February the 7th. Good. More time wouldn't have hurt though.
Last year I was thinking that offering him immunity might be the answer, but now I'm not sure that he can be really be guaranteed immunity from everything at all levels (local, state federal).
For example, if some authority finds Terri's civil rights have been denied, will they accept an agreement in which someone else gave away her right to have been treated humanely?
Do people who repeatedly attempt to kill their children get to go off into the sunset scot-free?
My asking this question doesn't help any person, who might be lurking. Any person's lawyer already knows the limits of what rights can be traded away in another person's name, especially if that lawyer has been a "leader" in the field of this type of guardianship.*
I think this offer of immunity needed to be made. At the same time, with this offer on the table, Michael can twist this situation to say, "See I was offered immunity, but I turned it down. I must, therefore, be innocent. I truly am only carrying out Terri's wishes."
*This type of guardianship should be given some other name, like bodily enslavement.
Which "ongoing" crimes would that be?
Denying Terri rehab is an ongoing crime. Denying her oral health care. Keeping her imprisoned. Denying her access to her family for months on end.
Just a few 'ongoing crimes'
Well adultery is a misdemeanor. I'm not sure which category of offense the breaking of the guardianship requirements would fall under. This case has really made me wonder how many guardians are actually being made to comply with the statutes that pertain to guardians. If there was a really good prosecutor they could get him for plenty of things, denial of religious freedom, neglect, and more.
Some wonder if insurance fraud could be charged as well. He never said anything about Terri not wanting to live that way until after he won a million for rehab. About $700,000 of that was awarded specifically for Terri's rehab which she hasn't had. It's being used to pay George Felos.
You are right, this case could be investigated. I've seen on cold cases on A&E and CourtTV where the investigators have gone back thirty or more years.
<P<IMHO Michael is beyond a control freak. He is a sadist and he might figure he'll get the money anyway, maybe he is planning a book deal. Just look at the passes given to him by the judges. He didn't even have to show up for some of the depositions -- just ignored them.
Wrangling continues as Terri Schiavo's family issues challenge to Michael
an ABC Action News report 01/28/05
CLEARWATER - Terri Schiavo's parents are offering Michael Schiavo everything they have if he'll just walk away and let Terri live.
The Schindlers made that very public challenge to the husband of their brain-damaged daughter Friday; the two sides have been locked in a legal battle over Terri's fate for years.
"He's nowhere to be found," Terri's father, Robert Schindler, said. "Let Michael Schiavo stand right where I am now, in front of all these cameras and microphones, and then you ask him the questions: Why will he not give Terri back to our family?"
The family also made an offer to give Michael uncontested access to Terri's finances and story if he drops his efforts to have her feeding tube removed.
"Book rights, movie rights, any money that could ever be made off of Terri, he can have it all -- any money that he would inherit -- if he would just please, please walk away," explained David Gibbs, the Schindlers' attorney.
George Felos speaks on behalf of Michael Schiavo, who hasn't commented publically on the case since 2003.
While the Schindlers took the case to the court of public opinion, a legal battle waged inside court as well. Gibbs argued Terri was never properly represented.
Calling it "frivolous" and "outrageous," Michael Schiavo's attorney argued that it was just another stall tactic meant to deny Terri her right to die.
"I have said over and over again, this case finally is going to end when the state court justices say no more stays, no more postponements," George Felos told Action News.
It doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon. The judge will take a week to look at this latest appeal after Felos gets a chance to respond to it, and a decision could be weeks away.
The court is also looking at another appeal, which would remove Michael Schiavo as Terri's guardian. A date for that case has not yet been set.

I agree. And Terri is in far better condition that Sunny. In Sunny's case the children, not the husband, became the guardians. Even though the husband got off the second time - wasn't it because of a technicality? - no one demanded that he be the guardian.
