CNN's reporting on this election was wretched, I thought. Fox and even MSNBC reported the event as if it was indeed a great historic event and a happy day. They were, as they should have been, guardedly optomistic. But with CNN, you had all this dour looking reporters focusing on nothing but the violence. They made it seem like the news of the day was an endless series of morter fire and suicide bombs.

I never watch CNN but this morning I turned it on to see how they were reporting the election. Wolf Blitzer was on and he was saying the right things but his expression was one of someone reporting on the end of the world. The he interviewed Iraq's defense minister. While the man ran on and on about what a wonderful and historic day this was with a few problems but a wonderfully successful election, they showed a film of an American tank going down a deserted bombed out street. The film was awful and I am sure it want meant to detract from the glowing words of the defense minister. CNN is disgusting scum!

If she'd stand up and admit she got it wrong, she'd be forgiven for getting it wrong on a hectic day. But to cover it up and let the lie stand is just wrong.

"To err is just human - to admit it is fine.
But to cover it up is not human, but swine"...

Those miserable sots. Clearly they are having another day of gloom. And why? Because the Iraqi people have prevailed. DUers are sick, twisted, warped, and unhinged people.

To be fair, CNN *has* been more aggressive about sending their guys around to different polling stations (yes, more so than FOX - ack, someone just shoot me now).

Of course, whatever points I just gave them they forfeited by trying to cover it up. ha.

CNN is just plain awful and on the level of CBS. The only people stupid enough to believe the crap CNN is trying to sell are the idiots at DU.

Actually, according to most of those DUmmie crazies CNN is too right-wing!!! You know, because it's never come right out and actually said that Bush = the Devil. DUmmies get their news from Franken on Air American and the Guardian newspaper.

This could explain all those "disenfranchised Ohio voters" Jess-AY was talking about--they stood all that time in line in the rain because the school they were at wasn't a polling place!
