CNN stands behind their story. Although it admits some over zealousness in rushing to air, the fact remains that a polling place did not open at that school. There is no evidence to suggest that CNN intentionally went to the wrong location. Furthermore, the seriousness of the charge against the election commision warranted the airing of the story.

CNN is complicit in the murder of many Iraqis.

Up to--that is, down to the usual "standards" of CNN.

What is truly amazing is that huge turnout to vote despite all the naysayers in all of the media who I think actually hoped that there would be wanton violence all over the place.
The election by any standard was a success from the view of turnout amidst the tremendous threats by the Terrorists against those that dared to vote.
I have to say that I think the back of the terrorists have been severely bent if not broken. They did everything they could to intimidate these people to stay home and not vote and it didn't work.
But is the MSM happy, hell no. They wanted to see utter failure and because it did not happen the only thing they and the Democrats can zero in on is that the Sunni's did not turn out in large numbers to vote and they are so worried about them and their voice in the new Government.
Somehow I believe that it will work out and the Sunni's will have some voice but listening to those on the left like Kerry it was a terrible day in some respects.
This whole thing is now back firing in their faces and all the criticism of Bush and Iraqi freedom is now going down the tubes for them and they don't know what to do.
Bush , I think, was born under a lucky star because if there had been a low turnout and great violence it could have been a very different story but against all expectations of gloom it worked and proved that given a choice of freedom or tyranny people will choose Freedom and right now Iran must be really worried that what is going on in Iraq might spread to their country and the Mullahs might be down for the count.

Even Fox though, through Shepherd Smith, their reporters on the ground and their military experts, were expecting and maybe even wanting to see trouble.
This thing has confounded all of the these people and they just don't know what to do or say.

Question: If some twit dumbo reporterette, working for a has-been network that no ones watches, shows up at the wrong place, how does anyone know or find out?
This is a "bear in the woods" rhetorical question...

Next on CNN, live coverage of the Super Bowl from the Rose Bowl. It's a surprisingly low turnout this year.

And Israelis. Without CNN, there would not have been the violence before the 1st Gulf War, nor the second round. IMO, CNN helped change world perceptions against Israel.

CNN caption: "Experts agree: Al Qaeda leader is dead or alive."
They can't go wrong with that. CNN is in the same league when it comes to news reporting as SNL.

To: Pikamax
so rather than check to see it the reporterette was at the correct spot, she ASSUMED that the US military screwed up.

As in "Terry Moran" of ABC Chief White House Correspondent fame? Now THAT would really fit!
