More Gun Porn.....
Bang!........ Splat
Their new toy is only a few hundred more than a stock pistol from US Firearms. It is the metal polishing of an old piece that they charge so much for.

can anybody tell me anything else??
If the SW 500 had 6 shots like mine it would be alot bigger heavy duty bad a** X frame, maybe a super X frame? show me the cylinder from a SW500 six shot? of course the 444 cartridge drops through the 500SW cylinder -— but i can grab the 12 inch barrel and whale away if i had an off day of shooting?
300 gr hornady 500 SW is 2050FPS and 2799 EFP at the muzzle
240 grain 444 marlin 2400FPS @ 3070 EFP @ muzzle
444 300 grain will be 2000FPS @ 2665 EFP
444 265 GRAIN WILL BE 2200FPS @ 2849 EFP
Polar bear, hell Kodiak Grizzly whatever - its like a four wheel drive(there all pretty darn good) most of it depends on who's driving or in this case, who's shooting.
You cant pick the fly s*** out of the pepper - it all looks the same — but you can sure talk about picking the flys**t out of the pepper all day long.
If you have the money and short mans syndrome — then the 500 is a must, i like the 460 XVR more.
The 444 isn't the largest cartridge out there — i have this pistol and a lever action 444? i would go anywhere in the world with a 240 grain (ballistics and trajectory) and step up to the 300 if it warranted?
My AMT auto mag IV 45 win mag (265 grain) will take out almost anything and is only 10 inches
a 45 LC single action is better than a 500SW in the hands of and idiot - which are alot of people just racing to get the biggest gun - you can make a larger pistol if your cylinder/barrel/clearance will handle the pressure/velocities? Who needs an expensive different cartridge - have 2 many already - and it seems mor logical to buy an airweight smith (or 640-3 357 mag) with a short barrel instead of a 2 inch 500SW -- neither one will you beat a bear with and an airweight has function, cost, BIGGEST PART noise and if you can shoot - you wont get chewed up to bad for half the price?
