That prof should be brought up on charges, not merely fired.

I don't have the Gov's email, but y'all can write to Ward himself and the Regents:

Whack their (CU's) budget a few million. Last night Horowitz said he'd talked to Hamilton College Prof's (whom the Admin now is likely to fire) who said they are hemmoraging donations. An email from the President noted there would be no pay increases next year and possibly pay cuts.

Incidentally CU is the same U that found it reasonable to suspend a football coach, for criticizing their female place kicker's talents. But....THAT was politically incorrect unlike Churchhill's comments.

Sad to say, most of our universities have been completely taken over by the left. I don't know what we can do, other than rely on conservative students and professors to expose these wretches, so we can destroy them.

More blood pressure enhancing info about Mr. Churchill:

Ward Churchill, a professor of ethnic studies and coordinator of American Indian Studies at the University of Colorado, will discuss his book, “A Little Matter of Genocide: Holocaust and Denial in the Americas,” ...

Earlier that day, he will discuss, “The Tragedy and the Travesty: The Subversion of Indigenous Sovereignty in North America” ...

“Ward Churchill is one of the most prolific Native scholars in North America,” said Todd Williamson of CMU’s Native American Programs office. “His broad topics of research range from Native American representative in the media to land claims and treaty rights to opposition to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s counterintelligence program, which he says uses taxpayer money to suppress dissident groups.”

Keynote speaker Churchill explores the themes of genocide in the Americas, historical and legal reinterpretation of conquest and colonization, literary and cinematic criticism, and alternatives to the status quo in his many writings and books.

In addition to “A Little Matter of Genocide,” Churchill also wrote “Agents of Repression,” “Fantasies of the Master Race” and “From a Native Son.” He is co-author of “The Cointelpro Papers: Documents from the FBI’s Secret Wars Against Dissent in the United States,” which “documents the continuing war, real and symbolic, that the FBI wages against a variety of protest groups during the early 1970s and since then as well,” according to American Indian Quarterly.

He is a past national spokesperson for the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee, which works to free Peltier.

Yes, I think it is going to have to get worse, before it gets better. Parents need to withhold their kids from institutions that do not provide assurances that the classroom will not be used as a political platform and that approved, non-liberal cirriculum is taught. Parents, who pay for the education of their kids, are responsible here. They must fight it. Until that happens, it will get worse and if I had to university educate my two again, they would not set foot in a government school. It would be private, and only after I checked it out thoroughly.
It is a serious situation, especially when you look at what our colleges are turning out...it is tragic.

I'd like to know one thing: what type of a job does one seek after obtaining a degree in Ethnic Studies ? I'm genuinely puzzled.

Good point. You a-hole Profs will have to forego a payraise due to my poor judgement and incompetance.

The Hamilton "Prez" sets the University's reputation back 50 years. And they pay her the big bucks for that.

I remember the good ol' days when a college degree was seen as an achievement. Now all it means is that you've been indoctrinated to 4 or 5 years of liberal lies and ideologies. It is also beginning to mean that more than likely, I wouldn't want to hang out with you for an hour outside of work, much less 8 hours during work.

Yes it is! In 1972, I chose Boston College over Cornell,
because I wanted to avoid the radical crap on campus. Now,
thirty years later, BC has become a liberal toilet, too!

I support the Gov's call for his resignation, but it was his state's school system that hired this nut job in the first place. Obviously they (and all public universities) should be putting the proper controls and limits in place in the first place. It is not enough to come down on the right side after incidents like this take place. This gov (and many others) have been subjecting their students to taxpayer funded leftist propaganda like this for a long time. I suggest they get in touch with Horowitz for some advice.

Thanks for the addresses, here is my e-mail.

I've lived in Colorado for 30+ years.

My youngest sister got her undergraduate and graduate degrees from CU, my other sister from Colorado College, and mine came from CSU in Ft. Collins.

My oldest daughter is now a Jr. in High School and starting to consider colleges. Her 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters are all watching closely.

The idiotic comments from CU's Prof. Churchill have had a surprising effect on my daughter and many of her classmates. This pleases me a great deal because I would hate to be the one to have limited her choice of schools. Even at 16, she knows that bad character corrupts and stupidity rots.

The University of Northern Colorado is now #1 for her.

You Regents have some work ahead of you. I wish you luck.

It doesn't matter what is studied, what matters is the kid went to college and is, thusly, considered properly indoctrinated. The majority of jobs in this country can be performed by well educated high school or well trained tech school graduates. Unfortunately finding a well educated high school student is very difficult given the current state of public education.

I agree with this - I was outraged one night when I saw on a news broadcast about a local job fair that Hertz Rent A Car was planning on hiring 6000 college graduates for: are you ready : to man their counters !! College at $20k per year and all you are is counter help ?

I wonder if these college graduates have to take skills tests in math, reading and writing in order to qualify for employment ?

Become a political activist living off government grants & money from foundation boards taken over by liberals, join an NGO and travel overseas in order to write reports complaining of US parsimony in funding your particular cause, become a staffer for a Democratic congressman or committee, hire on to government agencies or large companies to run their equal opportunity programs, or simply cut to the chase and become a Democratic Senator from Massachusetts.

An excellent example of what is going on. Consider that most of those college grads being hired at such astronomical (sarcasm) salaries are further encumbered with enormous student load debt. But if they didn't have the degrees they probably wouldn't even be granted an interview.

Yeah, let's bring the Sedition Act back. Bill Clinton sure could have used it against FR during his administration.
