Muslim asks FBI to explain remark on jihadists

A prominent Portland-area Muslim leader has asked the top FBI agent in Oregon to explain his recent remarks about the presence of jihad-trained fighters in the state.

EXPLANATION - There are jihadist fighters living in Oregon.

I know a number of Americans of Arab descent and immigrant Arabs. Everyone of them is a devout Orthodox, Melkite, Maronite or Coptic Christian. They all wear their crosses openly in their businesses, just so there's no mistake. A number of them, all of them actually now that I think of it, have had icons up in their businesses since long before 9/11. One of the guys told me that people used to come in, see the icons and have something of a quizzical, maybe even hostile look on their faces when they saw them. Since 9/11 the icons always elicit a broad smile. It is important to remember that the majority of Arabs in America are Christians and are here precisely for the same reasons we are fighting the Islamofascists.

Muslims should assimilate to American values or beliefs or return to their "heaven". What are any Muslims doing here in the first place.

Are any communities out there experiencing what we are, and have been, seeing in our community for the past five years? Namely, Middle Eastern immigrants buying houses and tearing them down and then building these monstrosities that apparently replicate their houses in Iran? Neighborhoods are starting to get up in arms about these great big ugly boxes that are transporting the look of Tehran to the U.S. Maybe this is just something that is happening in our area, but am curious about whether anyone else is noticing this? There is certainly no effort to 'assimilate' around here.

They immigrated here because years of Islamic society in their homelands have created hell holes full of misery.

And some are doing the best they can to turn this country into what they left, by not conforming to American Life! If you can't conform, get out, otherwise act like Americans.
