I think the time will be near when regime change in Iran becomes official US policy. Because, that will mean that we are refusing to deal with the Iranian regime, and that we consider it an illegimite gov't.
Hey, at least we are hearing very good things from senior American officials. That's progress. But we still haven't taken the diplomatic gloves off yet. As harsh as Rice was, it will get harsher.
If nothing else, Iran is making it into national American media routinely these days. Not that people are discussing it intelligently, though.
