Todays N&O said that this is the first time in history that a Republican has ever held that position, AWESOME!!!!!
It gives me hope that some in roads, however small they may be, are being made in this Godforsaken Democratic Government in NC.

Todays N&O said that this is the first time in history that a Republican has ever held that position, AWESOME!!!!! Until Cherie Berry was elected Labor Commissioner in 2000, NO republican had ever been elected to the Council of State. She was the first ever!
Now we have her, Troxler, and Merritt. Merritt being the State Auditor is the one that will benefit the republican party in the state and the State of NC the most.
