I'm glad you pointed out by posting this thread how the media and others can distort the truth of events. Unhappily, their distortions often leave those who were not present with imcorrect perceptions, that help to destroy people's character.

Many on this thread suggested that Maria gave the money for self-promotional purposes, when in actuality she had nothing to do with publicizing her donation.

Don't you just wish people would get things right and quit trying to tear people down?

All the more reason to despise the LAMESTREAM media!

When my husband told me this story, we went with what was reported. Now, reading this, I'm disgusted that I even bought into the reporting of this event!

Why can't they get anything right?!
