Those other countries are making progress because for one they see the need in developing their lower classes and not just getting rid of them. Mexico is closer and closer to revolution because it's elites are pretty much like Marie Antoinette. They're living it up, jetsetting around the world and their attitude is to hell with their countrymen who are suffering and dying trying to escape the crushing poverty. Mexico's vast wealth is meant for a European type oligarchy --- not for the most Mexican of the people.

I've been concerned with Mexico imploding for quite awhile. Don't know when it will happen, but it will happen.
What do you think the role of the US will be when that happens?
it started to happen in the 80s.
it was fueled by the legions of communists produced by the universidad de guadajara, for example.
the reagan administration was consumed by the contra wars in this hemisphere, and the soviet union elsewhere.
so, the u.s. government sent tanks and other military equipment to mexico.
and, allowed the immigrants over the border.
it was an ESCAPE VALVE, so that mexico didn't explode on our borders.
it was a "good" fit--the u.s. birth rate was 1.7 in 1978 and our economy cannot function with a deficit birth rate.
A country awash in drugs, drug lords and corrupt govt. officials who are connected with the drugs lords.
A huge class of billionaires, and the ultra poor, with very little in-between.
Meanwhile little children are on the streets, begging, selling gum, whatever, to stay alive. Mexico is sick, not those of us who are alarmed by it's corruption.
