Someone actually left a plate of muffins on my porch just after my mom died. I have no idea who did it. I threw them away, even though I assumed that it was intended as a nice gesture.
I wouldn't eat them either (Highly suspicious myself - I won't even eat stuff I make) but yeah, it IS a nice gesture...
That is awfully late, but get real. If I were king this idiot judge and the crazy woman would be forced to spend an evening together in a locked room. I would have either dismissed the case or made the girls apologize for startling the lady late at night.
Ah, the good old days... Nowadays, you'd be charged with Arson, Malicious Mischief, and have to pay pain and suffering, pay for the HAZ-MAT cleanup, etc...
after neighbor Wanita Renea Young, 49, filed a lawsuit
This is ridiculous!
The moral of the story is, don't toss your cookies... at least not on your neighbor's doorstep! LOL
I won't sue you, but I am expecting a little money in the mail from you. After all you caused me no small amount of
emotional damage by "stealing my thunder", as quiet as the rumble was. Instead of money,I would settle for a box of cookies though. But don't leave them by my door late at night. Freepmail would be OK.
These kids needed a jury trial to overcome this absurd judge. No way a reasonable jury would convict them. Alas legal costs would have been even higher then. They really needed a pro-bono attorney to avoid the judicial system blackmail.
Next time they should leave a burning sack of sh#t on her door step.
For a 17 & 18 yr old...I don't think so. Does this judge have any children? I bet he wasn't a teen himself.
The other thing I would bet on...this judge probably goes soft on the poor, it takes a village kid that gets caught breakin into homes, schools, etc.
This is insane.
Businesses can be fined/ordered to pay damages if they don't properly accomodate the disabled, including those with panic disorder.
However, if the government can force money two people from down the street knocking on the door, then no one is safe to leave their house in case their mere presence causes someone mental palpitations.
I just have no words to describe how I feel about that woman.
You wouldn't want to meet me or any of my close friends.
I still get 4AM phone calls from college pals of 35 years
ago. We talk women, jobs, beer, and politics. I guess we
lack graymatter.
Ditto, I have "friends" in more time zones than Rand-McNally...lol.
Have a good attorney handy because you know if she would sue those girls she would surely sue you.
Exactly. Enough to make you toss your cookies....
