I didn't mean to imply that we had any new scopes up there yet. I think the Hubble should be saved if possible. I was just saying the new ones as technology improves will be better. I don't recall saying "EVERYTHING" didn't work as designed unless you were referring to the warped mirror which was repaired.

Boost it into a higher parking orbit and sell it to Virgin - they will use it as a stop on their space tours in a few years.
