‘If someone wants to privatize Social Security, they are going to have to find someone else to get in bed with other than me,’ Reid told a television audience

Wishful thinking, Harry. Everyone prefers to get in bed with anyone but you. But you knew that, didn't you?

NOTHING IS SWEETER THAN HANGING A MAN BY MERELY DEMONSTRATING HIS HYPOCRISY WITH HIS OWN WORDS!

But, but..., won't we be accused of launching a "personal attack"???

It seem like every time we slap a particularly vile and obnoxious democrat slug down (Daschle), one even more revolting crawls out from under a rock to take its place (Reid). Where do they find these slimy little creatures anyway, and why do they insist on promoting them to leadership positions?

In a perfect world, this little whiny rant should have finished any influence Reid might have in DC, coming on the heels of his disgraceful attack on Clarence Thomas on Meet The Press. The two episodes together should prove beyond any doubt that Reid is a lightweight and is in way over his head. Instead, the press will continue (at least publicly) to treat him and his ridiculous "war room" as the only legitimate government in town.

You're right on re: the Clarence Thomas remarks. I was watching MTP live when he said that, and you could see Russert look at him as if to say: "what the hell is wrong with you?"

Those Clarence Thomas comments need to be crafted into a slick TV commercial that can feature his other dumb-ass flip-flops. This guy is an over-the-hill old fart with even less appeal than the Dasch-hole. He makes Dick Gephardt look like Howard Stern on the charsima meter, and Robert Byrd look like a sping chicken. Is this the best the Dem bench has to offer?

I was actually very surprise by Reid. When I first heard he was going to be the lead Dem in the Senate, I thought that was a good sign, that the Dems would try to moderate themselves.

It doesn't make sense to have a Senator from Nevada being the obstructionist in chief. If they wanted an obstructionist...they should have picked someone from a safe seat.

Then again...the Dems just don't make sense.

Are you saying that his is not a safe seat? Excellent, Nevadans will have to do something about that!

Boo-hoo...the truth hurts, right Dingy Harry? How in the world can Nevadans keep returning this turkey to the Senate when they voted overwhelmingly for Pres. Bush? Must be all the booze in Vegas.

When Reid stood up at the Senate mic today, I thought sure he was gonna cry!!! He held up the paper and said that the RNC article slamming him "wasn't fair".

He even called on the President to make them stop being so mean to him---

Later in the day, he had his buddy Dick Durbin get on the floor and hold up the same paper, and say how shameful the Republicans were for being mean to poor Harry. He then said that Frist needed to get on TV and rebuke the RNC---

Now where the heck were these people when practically all of the Dems were calling Bush a liar and warmonger for 3 years---Not ONE TIME did Bush tell the DNC to make them stop being mean to him---

It is the difference between a MAN and a mouse!!!

When is Reid up for re-election? He's going to have a hard time running from his record.

"Poor old Harry Reid. He just wanted to be independent like Nevada, but now he's found himself in the political sunlight. I hope he doesn't burn up. :) Hehehe!"

Okay, the whole "Independent, Like Nevada" campaign REALLY ticked me off. I almost drove my car off the road every time I saw that billboard. I'm even more burned that people fell for it.

Unfortunately, he was just re-elected, so 6 more years of Hell.

I know it did. We busted our guts out here in the Carson City. Even made him take down one of the billboards going to Reno, but they still fell for it. We tried to get him out of there, but now he's in the spotlight. It gets pretty bright out there. And in six years, when Nevada feels like they've been railroaded enough, maybe that'll be enough.

As Ann Coulter once wrote: "The beauty of being a liberal is that history always begins this morning."

Never mind about my past, just focus on what I'm saying today!
