Blame the Stupid Party for NOT finding a strong candidate to run against him last year. The GOP could have easily beaten the Nevada liberal. And now it has to put up with his obstruction for six more years. What a missed opportunity!

>p> The GOP didn't run any one against him. So he won by default. That what gets me pissed off at RNC more than at Harry Reid. Our party had a chance to pick up that Red State seat and blew it. Mehlman's people are the ones who should be crying all day because right now we could have had 56 instead of 55 votes in the Senate. Stupid is as stupid does. Don't blame the voters in NV for being left with no alternative.

"We tried to get him out of there, but now he's in the spotlight. It gets pretty bright out there. And in six years, when Nevada feels like they've been railroaded enough, maybe that'll be enough."

Nevadans are sure gonna get an education about him now that he's under the national microscope.

Yep. I remember someone whining about him getting elected. I told 'em he's in the spotlight now. People will see how left he is.

One question: If you're cake_crumb, where's cookie dough? :) Sorry, I couldn't help it after seeing your screen name for a while.

He can run from the cameras and microphones, but he cannot hide from the truth of his own words.

Reid was the only one willing to travel with Hill on Thanksgiving to Iraq.

Jack Reed (D-RI). Hitlery's shadow.

What's worse this this sack of excrement was just re-elected and the Nevada GOP did not mount a serious opposition to him.

I seem to recall that John Ensign nearly toppled Reid in a Senatorial election a while ago. Reid had better watch his step - he is from a red state, and with the right candidate, he could be ousted.

# In 1999, Reid Said: “[W]e’re Visiting Chile Because It Is Doing Interesting Things In Social Security And Other Parts Of Its Free Market System…” (Tony Batt, “Reid To Embark On South America Trip,” Las Vegas Review-Journal, 3/30/99)

When he was on FNC the other day he said the program in Chile is a total disaster. I wonder what made him change his mind.

Oh never mind. The man is a total putz

And he was elected (against Ensign) because of the illegal immigrant vote.

Are you saying that his is not a safe seat? Excellent, Nevadans will have to do something about that!

He has the benefit of incumbency, which is a powerful force, but the D's have seats much, much safer than Nevada. I think Reid is at serious risk. And I think he knows it now...his next election is not going to be against some barely funded upstart candidate, his next election is going to be against the full power of the Republican party. That is what this article is about...that start. Furthermore, the fact that he will be vulnerable will attract much better candidates because there chances of success is so much greater. I think it is safe to say that Nevada's senate seat will be in play when Reid comes up for re-election.
