Ditto. Anyone who would take a course labeled gender/women/race studies is an idiot. If no one signed up for these classes, then the profs would be out of jobs. College is a waste of time, except for hands-on courses such as science labs, art/music studio courses, etc. The sociology/history/lit stuff you can get from libraries and the Internet.

Yeah, me too.. Glad I took up engg, usually no biases in science/engg.. physical sciences and engg are usually pure, uncorrupted by subjective interpretations of people who teach them. With higher education in science/engg you can contribute very much to society through new inventions and products. On the other hand, the only good think abt higher education in social sciences is, you can fulfill your "ego" by easily getting a PhD with little effort.

Ok ..but..does anyone thow all this info back into the faces of the colleges..Fascinating post .BUT..did the big wiggs at U MASS get to see what was written here regarding that professor?
If not we should send this off to them ..OFTEN
