FBI Looking At Nov. Vote Tampering

New Dispute Over November Election Results (2/2/05)

Reported by: 9News Web produced by: Mark Sickmiller Photographed by: 9News 2/9/2005 3:21:23 PM Questions about vote tampering in Clermont County have attracted the attention of the FBI.

Agents are now interviewing members of the Clermont County Board of Elections.

The allegations center on the use of stickers to cover incorrect markings on the ballots in November.

Some witnesses to the recount say they saw stickers placed over the bubbles next to Senator John Kerry's name, but never President Bush's name.

The Board of Elections director says his staff did everything by the book.

Whatever Bush advantage this stunt produced was likely wiped out several times over by dead people voting two or three times for Kerry. I think this is something the Jesse Jacksons and the Keith Olbermanns and the Barbara Boxers of the world don't recognize -- vote fraud can be found in a lot of places, but it is predominantly found in heavily Democrat areas designed to help Democrats.

Zych, Thomas F.-WI 1 0.00%

Wow. Thank goodness we didn't have to endure the inauguration of President Zych.

New Dispute Over November Election Results

The presidential election has been over for a while, but allegations of election fraud continue.

Attorneys are looking into concerns centering around the use of stickers to cover markings on ballots in Clermont County.

The questions came up during a December meeting - that's when witnesses to the re-count say they brought up their concerns before the Clermont County Board of Elections.

One witness says he saw stickers placed over the bubbles next to the names of John Kerry and John Edwards. But, he says he never saw any stickers placed over the bubbles next to President George Bush or Dick Cheney.

However, Dan Bare, the director for the Clermont County Board of Elections, tells us those stickers were in fact used over Bush-Cheney bubbles as well.

Bare says since 1995 the county has placed stickers on any extra markings on ballots that may throw off the count.

"I have to say the stickers were used in a discriminatory manner becuse there were many ballots we saw with what could be called extraneous marks for Kerry, that weren't covered," said Bob Drake, who witness the recount.

Dan Bare says he wants to make it clear he stands by his staff, and says they did everything by the book.

Attorneys know the election is certified but are looking into the sticker concerns hoping any irregularities are fixed before another election.

More evidence that the FBI is still controlled by clintonoids in the top echelons and that Bush has done NOTHING to clean it out. They are starting to deal with the mess in the CIA, but the FBI is completely untouched.

Nothing wrong with investigating Republican shennanigans, but I'm disturbed that that has been virtually the only thing that has been investigated. The same was true in Florida, where they are STILL investigating charges of obstructing black voting way back in 2000 but have done nothing to look into Democrat vote packing.

Thanks for the bump. There is no fargin' way Kerry would have won that county, this is a farce. Like someone said above, check Cuyahoga first if they are that interested in irregularities.

I don't know which part of it is worse - "lawyer", "University of Cincinnati", "professor", or "Democrat". All are evil in their own way (speaking as a lawyer).

Also he apparently was a public school teacher for many years. Might top all of the above.

I thought Republican precincts didn't allow "witnesses"

Arte you kidding? The FBI has a policy of not investigating corruption in the state of Washington.

Thanks, so even if ALL Kerry's votes had stickers over them, it still wouldn't be enough. And there were less than 113,000 total votes in Clermont for president.
