I was helping a friend clean house after Christmas (about 1st of January). She put a cedar/pine swag in the lit fireplace and darn near burned down the house. You can't believe how high those flames went.
Not good to put candles on a Christmas tree ever, let alone in January when it's completely dried out. I'm surprised he made it out of the house at all.
