I wasn't criticizing CT, as I don't know what it is like, but will take your word for it.
My sarcasm was aimed at the utopia the antis are expecting when they get rid of smokers and drinkers and it winds up looking as you described!

You forgot to calculate the savings in SS and retirement plan payments from the early deaths of smokers.Its considered. SS is national. I still benefit if they move out of state.
