IF that's what he "thought" he should have just picked up the phone and called the cops. That case has absolutly nothing to do with Parential Notification -- it's Law Enforcement Notification, which IS the law, BTW.

Point is well-taken. At the time the story came out, we were hoping the law enforcement issue would be exposed in a potential presidential debate. Unfortunately, or fortunately, Howie lost the primary.

Forgive Howard Dean. His intentions were pure.

But it was awkward when he stood at a podium with leading Democrats at the Trenton Marriott Monday evening and praised the party's austerity.

"I am so proud New Jersey has state officials who understand the value of the dollar and don't keep borrowing and borrowing," said Dean, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee and the former governor of Vermont.

Didn't he know? Democrats drove up spending by 17 percent this year, thanks to a borrowing binge that would have made even former Gov. Christie Whitman blush.

Those at the podium were the leading co-conspirators, including acting Gov. Richard Codey and Assembly leaders Albio Sires (D-Hudson), Joe Roberts (D-Camden) and Bonnie Watson Coleman (D- Mercer).

As Dean stumbled onto this sensitive subject, they stared at their shoes, squinted at the lights and kept their frozen smiles in place.

"He must have been reading from the wrong script," says GOP chairman Tom Wilson. "These guys have borrowed more than the entire budget for Vermont."

COMMENTS Funny Dean didn't mention ex-Gov ("I am a gay American")McGreevey since McGreevey was one of the first governors to back Dean's candidacy. McG had a news conference to announce his Dean endorsement, with lots of top-ranking state Dumbocrats rounded up for the event.

That was before The Dean Scream, and before McG "discovered" he was gay (laughs uproariously).


Maybe Howie didn't want to remind Dumbocrats about all of McG's transgressions....like McG hiring his lover as the state's $110K Homeland Security chief.


Self-absorbed, ambitious McG ---a visceral political parasite and practicing homosexual----planned to dupe the electorate and ripoff NJ taxpayers, so he enlisted corrupt donors---the Dim elite---who also wanted a piece of the action----to fund his bid for governor.


Many savvy people say they knew McG was a homo, and that he was a first-class phony. Dim parasite McG ran for office pretending he was a happily married husband and father. Two weeks after proposing marriage to his intended---who he desperately needed to fake his candidacy---he met hearthrob Cipel in Israel, and plotted to put Cipel in a high ranking state job thus fellating his lover, his campaign financiers, and the citizenry, all at the same time.


McG's top campaign financier was convicted felon, Charles Kushner, who hired a prostitute to intimidate federal witnesses, videotaped the sex acts, and sent the tape to his own sister. Kushner pled guilty to campagn and business fraud (Kushner alo gave money to Hitlery Clinton and the DNC) and is oging to jail.


Once in office, McG then launched a corrupt municipal-county-statewide plan to loot the state treasury, all staffed with dirty politicans on-the-take. The New Jersey AG backed off investigating these crooks, and the NJ Supremes were bought off to contravene the NJ constitution, so's McG could needlessly borrowing $4 billion---- the pile being used in political payoffs---and intended as hush money for Cipel.


Unfortunately, though Cipel apparently was gangbusters in the sack, he was a major screwup otherwise. The media got curious about Cipel---who hardly showed up for work, and when reporters started asking questions, it was all over. McGreevey---- the Boy Genuis who hired Cipel---and thought nobody would notice.


McGreevey oughta be in jail for endangering the lives of Americans by hiring his know-nothing boyfriend---Cipel--- to man (and I use the term loosely) the HomeSec dept.


No wonder Howie didn't mention McG's endorsement, nor the $4 Billion illegal borrowing.
