The school's policy actually is the result of another lawsuit -- this one brought by the liberal American Civil Liberties Union.
No, actually their name is the American Depraved Monster Liberties Union. They are totally depraved and not worthy of being spit on.

I'm glad they're suing. Apparently lawsuits are the only way to address these issues. So far only the left has been suing. It's about time we get in the game.

"if a student speaks out against homosexuality to a student who says that they're homosexual, that that is against school policy and would be considered harassment"
Have they ever heard of freedom of speech???
They would have to lock me in a cell and melt the key!!!

Who is responsible for letting a Communist, atheist group like the ACLU put "American" in their name? They are a disgrace to America!

This poor town will be paying legal bills for the next century.

Yep, but that's what they get for not fighting an out-of-control judiciary. They could fire their legislators to raise some cash. Who needs them anymore. Fire the school board too.

One wonders how long it will take educators to decide that parents have rights too.
After the ACLU sues, then the Parents sue, lots of legal expenses.
A voucher system is cheapest and best way to go?

Allegedly, students are prohibited from telling homosexual students they can become heterosexual.
I wonder if the school holds to prohibiting students from telling smoking students that they can become non-smokers?
To: DBeers
My kids know that if this happens in their school (without my permission), walk out and head to the front office and call me and my husband. We will deal with it.

That's the tactic they used with "Heather has two mommies," suing small libraries and communities to overrule the American Library Association's recommendation that the book be placed in the parenting section rather than the kid's books section.

Look, these people who you say want to be left alone allowed the ACLU to arm-twist them into maintaining horrible policies. And what of the people in that town who don't want their children taught that homosexuality is normal and innate? Those people want THEIR CHILDREN left alone. The town better get some backbone, some commonsense, and some morals or they will keep getting sued. And they will deserve it.

Are you willing to foot the bill to fight the ACLU ? They can't. They just plain don't have the money.
All I'm hearing from you is worthless hot air. This takes money. Pony up or shut up.
To: DBeers
Actually, they and the ACLU target the small towns because they have less money to defend against this type of cra*

Well did it pay off in the long run? No! If they had fought the ACLU they wouldn't be facing this lawsuit.
