Michael Savage just made a call to arms! TAKE DOWN THE ACLU (Total Vanity)

About 30 minutes ago, Michael Savage was talking to the mother of 2nd Lt. Patano. He was extremely upset after the interview. He said that he is donating $50,000 to Patano's defense and he also made a call to arms to take down the ACLU.
HE WANTS TO BRING DOWN THE ACLU! He said that if you buy his book, he will donate 10% of the sales to Patano's defense and he is now making it his main goal to take down the ACLU.
I do not know if he is completely serious, but if he is, this might just be the boost those of us who are interested in firing back at the ACLU need.

Is Savage still on the air?
Why would I want his book?
What makes him an "expert" as opposed to a "personality"?

This could be the "foot in the door" that you've been looking for...
I've seen/heard alot about this case on the tv and radio the last few days as I'm sure you all have as well...It is an outrage based on all of the reports that I've heard and the ACLU and the guy who brought these charges up in the first place should be held accountable for their actions in this case!

If Michael isn't dead-on serious about it, then he's a fraud...I'm glad to see he's finally going to fulfill one of his great purposes on earth. Joining us in dismantling the terrorist, anti-American, Soviet-like org. known as the ACLU. And Enemy of the State.

Savage is a blatant spiritual-seeker whom, I pray, comes to the only conclusion that one can.
Jesus Christ is God and is the ONLY, NOT ONE OF MANY, but ONLY Way, Truth and Life - the only path to happiness and eternity, health and peace, etc.
I can't take too much of him when he's not seeking, because his bi-polar, manic behavior diludes his Pure Extremist Conservative Patriot genius...when Savage gets Jesus, watch out world.
Everyone has their own road, including all and not excluding a single person...

Okay, just how does he plan to "take down" the ACLU? Seriously, I despise them too but for all the bitching I hear about them, almost nobody can actually say who runs them, where they are headquartered, how they are organized......and what would be a good way to put all that info to use in a way to legally and nonviolently target and bring pressure to bear on this organization.

Good for Savage!
And BTW folks, I heard Sean Hannity on the air today saying he's disappointed in the way FReepers rip people up and "eat their own." He said most of his friends in the media have left FR because of the petty shots FReepers make on these threads about various conservative media types.
Please think this over and try to understand how hurtful our comments can sometimes be to the conservatives on the front lines who are fighting with us. Think how you'd feel if people were always cheap-shot second-guessing everything you said and did.
So as my Dad used to say, "If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all."

(1) He is a Nut Case
(2) He really is a Nut Case
(3) I enjoy listening to him more than his callers
(4) He spends too much time speaking of his childhood memories
(His stories are precious)
(5) He is a Nut Case

Savage is trying to say that the ACLU has made us, some of our laws, and some of our military advisors weak and the only way to change things is to "kill the head of the snake." The head of the snake would be the ACLU and he wants to take them down.

I missed part of his show tonite, unfortunatly, but I'm sure I'll hear more of this as time goes on. The ACLU should be brought down under the RICO laws (anti-racketeering).

The ACLU is not about defending liberty, they are about ending liberty.
Those sorry bunch of left wing activists over at the ACLU need to be shut down. Since when is banning Christmas defending civil liberty. Since when is banning the Ten Commandments from being displayed in our Court Houses defending civil liberty.
The ACLU needs to understand that our Civil Liberty's are guaranteed in the Constitution and any change in the law is done in the legislative branch of the government by Representatives who answer to their constituents. The ACLU abuses the process by filing their objections with our most liberal activist Courts in hopes they will legislate from the Bench. They do this because they can't sell their left wing lunacy to the voters on election day, so they rely upon the many activists Courts to thwart the Constitution and foist therefore disenfranchise all of us

The ACLU has Bob Barr, Dick Army and a few other Conservatives in their midst these days. Maybe the way to change that useless organization is by infiltrating it, and therefore, removing the cancer we all have come to know as Liberalism

If you want to 'take down' an organization which has the financial support of the ACLU it is going to be impossible to erradicate the organization, what we can hope for is a conservative takeover.

I wish I could find the thread that it was posted on but someone posted a brilliant description of Savage and I will paraphrase - Listening to Savage is like three hours of insanity interspersed with an occasional nugget of wisdom.
To: gidget7
On this forum in the last few years it appears to be "the norm" to try to destroy anyone with another opinion. There is more "ripping" of other FReepers than there is of the celebrity conservatives.
I suspect it happens so that no contrary opinions appear and they rule the "forum" causing it to no longer be a forum. It is too much trouble, even facts in hand, to confront the kind of rank stupidity that only seeks to destroy.

I heard Sean Hannity on the air today saying he's disappointed in the way FReepers rip people up Yeah, heard Hannity open up his show with that today (rebroadcast here at 10pm).
Found it odd. Don't know what brought on that anti-FR comment.
Hannity is one of those guys that tries to get along with everyone, something I can't do. I believe he is a true conservative, but it sometimes ticks me off that he's so nice to Anti-American, Whack RATs.
That not exactly a criticism, it's just that I'm a "Yer either with us, or agin' us" guy.
I listen to his radio show (after Laura) but don't watch his Fox show because I can't stand that freak Colmes.
I don't think Hannity gets it. RATs are back-stabbing scum who will stop at nothing to advance their goals.
Witness the Dubya try to appease Teddy in his first term. What positive effect did it have? NONE!
Maybe Hannity is just too young, or I've seen too much evil.

Got a book where I think they are mentioned:

Unholy Alliance by David Horowitz Regnery Publishing, Inc.; ISBN: 089526076X Hardcover - 256 pages (September 2004)
In this tour de force on the most important issue of our time, David Horowitz, confronts the paradox of how so many Americans, including the leadership of the Democratic Party, could turn against the War on Terror. He finds an answer in a political Left that shares a view of America as the Great Satan with Americas radical Islamic enemies. This Left, which once made common cause with Communists, has now joined forces with radical Islam in attacking Americas defenses at home and its policies abroad. From their positions of influence in the university and media culture, leftists have defined America as the root cause of the attacks against it. In a remarkable exploration of the Mind of the Left, Horowitz traces the evolution of American radicalism from its Communist past to its anti-war present. He then shows how this Left was able to turn the Democratic Party presidential campaign around and reshape its views on the War on Terror.
Horowitzs Unholy Alliance, writes John Haynes, the noted historian of American Communism, is an insightful, brilliant examination of the mental world of the radical left. Horowitz shows how todays radicals, unwilling to reflect on the internal flaws that destroyed Marxism-Leninism from within, have embraced an all-consuming nihilism in its place. This has led them to a hatred of American institutions and a solidarity with Islamic terrorists that makes the radical left more properly regarded as dangerous than loony. Unholy Alliance is an eye-opening book that should unsettle conventional assumptions and reveals why intellectuals and political leaders who applaud Michael Moore are no laughing matter. As Harvey Klehr, author of Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America, writes, The world Communist movement may be moribund, but its habits of mind and ideological fantasies have not disappeared. This is a fascinating and depressing account.
