Good morning. :o)
Beautiful day in Northern California. Sunshine trying its best to peek through the clouds, my bulbs are growing, buds on the trees. Good day to get some yard maintenance done. :o)

On the NY thread, I stated that I don't watch TV. I should not have used NEVER, I should have used rarely.
Television is not always reliable. Events that are rare are the events that are often covered in the news.

University of Hawaii professors have organized an aggressive fundraising effort to bring Ward Churchill, a highly controversial professor based at the University of Colorado and activist in the American Indian Movement, to lecture at the Universitys Manoa Campus. . . Then maybe they need to take their place on the gallows right next to Ward Churchill.

Called Back peddling. It's not just one isolated example or two. How can your word be taken if you keep saying I shouldn't have said that because now I mean that?
I was referring to the entire thread comments and other threads following that cause questions. Again, I just wanted to point out why there is some confusion with where you stand.

""Laura - you have many positions on issues. And yet you will change your position again.""
It is more of changing my position. You said I did not learn from others, but that is just not true. If someone posts a comment that makes a clear and logical argument, I will think about it and often alter my view if I feel it is much more thought out.

How do you know? Are you answering *for* sarah_f? There are more typical blue states than those mentioned.
To: LauraleeBraswell
Huh?!
To: LauraleeBraswell
I would be glad to help you. I will send my suggestions by freepmail.

well, Hawaii, California, Hillary Clinton NY, and Kerry/Kennedy Massachusetts all have strong reputations for being extremely liberal. While, there are other liberal states such as Vermont and Maine, I would dare to say that these four are mentioned over Vermont and Maine.

And I went off on a Tangent to explain that NATIVES LOVE WHITE PEOPLE. Well......ummmmm, I'll go out on a limb here..and say that maybe you are confusing the "love of money" with real "love".

Lauralee,
when you change your view on any giving issue ,after someones post that was clear or logical, you should start your reply by adding: After I reflected or thought about it some more I came to the conclusion....
Just a helpful tip,I have changed my view on some issues after reading all posts made to a thread ,than thought it over and replied as suggested above.
It never caused any problems, because I stated clearly why my view changed.
FRegards

I was Not asking for personal information. I was just questioning what you provided. I would never inquire for someone's personal information on FreeRepublic. You misunderstood my point. I'll just leave it at.
