I'm not big on O'Reilly, either. Thought you might find it provoking. Glad you realize the Monty Python reference was in jest.
"BTW, what on Earth is the Nuclear Freeze Club?"
I was born and raised a liberal. (I hate to admit it)
When I got into college I got involved in left wing activities and the Nuclear Freeze Movement was going strong and I believed the idea that getting rid of nuclear weapons was a great idea so I joined in.
Then I found out that the REAL goal of the movement was the unilateral disarmament of the USA. They had no plans whatsoever to even ask the USSR to do likewise. Then I dug some more and found the leadership was composed of anti-American and pro-USSR Communists. Real Commies.
Thus I endeavoured to become the *last* President of the Nuclear Freeze Movement at my college. I ran for and was elected to the office and then went to work making sure the movement curled up and died. As it did.
This was the key moment that changed me from a cloudy-eyed liberal to a rational-thinking conservative.
And there you go.
Way ahead of ya, BO'R. I never stop boycotting the steenking French.

The
French
(Insert picture of Belly Girl here).
"You can run from France,
but sooner or later the
French way will get you!"
I sincerely hope you're wrong.
Yep--they're Watermans. Now I don't have to stifle my appreciation of them. Thanks.
Amen, ditto!!!!
