Bush has no loyalty to conservatism. He can call himself 'conservative' all the way but he is more obsessed with being pals with leftists.
You can criticize all you like, but your screenname implies that you at one point supported the President, and that it is he who changed, and that is where I am challenging you.
I maintain that he is who he has always been, a Christian conservative (though, moderate in some areas such as education) who is both gracious, and politically savvy.
He is today as conservative as he has always been. It is only if you didn't know what he stood for in the first place and look at the superficial (such as this) to make judgements, and not the substance, that you are so deeply disappointed in him.
Either you are a conservative who was ill informed as to who he was in the first place, or you are a wolf in sheep's clothing.......i.e., a liberal with a phony screenname.
I repeat..........HE has not changed.
President Bush 41 is a good man. President Bush 41 now likes Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is now a good man. Hillary Clinton is married to Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton is a good woman. Vote for Hillary.
How dumb do they think we are, anyway? :o)
Well, it's good that President Bush is friendly with Clinton. But he ought to watch himself - Clinton spins people into his web just to get something for himself. He should never be trusted.
What makes you trust the NY Times? Your impeccable conservative standards?
This isn't that difficult to understand. The Bushes are classy blue-bloods who were raised with standards of decency in relationships. They don't say bad things about people -- have you noticed that? On the other hand, Bill Clinton is basically white trash who was raised to be self-serving. He is gullible and is being played like a fiddle by the better Bushes. It's fun to watch.
This story has the makings of a Adams-Jefferson pen-pal relationship.
yeah, but neither Adams nor Jefferson were impeached rapists.

But would you not trust a conservative Christian man who is praying for wisdom as he governs more than a debauched, self centered, power hungry liberal with an evil, ambitious wife, even if they are by your definition 'globalists?'
You wiped them all out with the same broad brush, and IMO, one cannot rationally do that.
One might, as a Christian, be a 'globalist' to some, simply by understanding that God loves those in other places of the world as much as He loves us here in America.
