One more thought - remember how the linguists caught the author Joe Klein(?) author of The War Room (?) by examining his use of phrases/words cliches etc.,
That would be a start....to compare to the WaPo article.

If you know someone say from Arkansas... and you are from Arkansas...
Just follow the threads about Arkansas...odds are you will run across that person eventually.
If you know someone personally, you can tell from their posts or comments who they are, even without knowing 100% their screen name. Eventually they can slip up and 'hint'.

Who are the Democrats trying to tarnish with this? The bloggers in general? Free Republic specifically? The MD state house? Who? O'Malley will probably be running against Gov. Ehrlich in '06. The apparent purpose of this little charade was to a.) smear some mud on Ehrlich and, more importantly, b.) innoculate O'Malley against womanizing claims.
Any such revelations concerning O'Malley's marital infidelity are now officially "old news".
