That looks like the one; THANKS! I read the page, the student's "choose their program"---photography, DRAMA...it's sounds like a school full of HollyWERIDOs in the making. It's time the parents as well as teachers get a grip.

I just googled the name, "Alex Kunhardt," and found nothing.

As a teacher, I would then make the executive decision to throw those ones in the trash before sending the rest.

Brooklyn has many ethnic neighborhoods. But Park Slope is know as a white yuppie area with white artistes, progressives, yoga teachers, you get the idea.

Easy subway access to jobs in Manhattan

Fifth graders (my granddaughter's class) in our elementary school sent letters to a group of soldiers in Iraq that were very supportive - and got back wonderful replies, and some pictures. Of course, I live in a red state.

Schools need parent involvement and parent support. It is a problem when only one point of view is given/taught.

I think I'll go with the Biblical criteria, instead.

You think you will, but you're not, else you wouldn't being saying what you are.

Hold tight to your delusions.

"These end times". Bosh.

Most of the 21 letters Jacobs provided to The Post mentioned some support for the armed forces, if not the Iraq war, and thanked him for his service. But nine of the students made clear their distaste for the president or the war.

So look who thoses letters came from; These kids are taught from birth to hate American's.

...insensitive....

That's putting it mildly.

I read that quote 5 times, and figured I just missed the misspelling. :-)

Key word: assignment. Therefore it had to be graded, therefore the teacher knew full-well what was being sent. Did those horrible letters meet the stated assignment criteria of being supportive? No way! Sure, some of the kids probably only parrotted back what they learned at home. But the teacher let this one go forward.

And to think, all the "freedom-fighters" would do if they had their hands on the teacher is slit his throat.

If that's not a true sign that the barbarians are not at the gate. they are inside it, nothing is. We need to close our borders to any muslim immigration - from any country - then begin evaluation of each muslim in the country now. Those who are not US citizens, and those who have been here long enough and did not take US citizenship, should be detained and deported at all haste to their country of origin. Especially those hiding in the universities. We do not need more muslims here, islam is the enemy of our freedom.

Bless You! I'm still stuck in Connecticut (after having lived for 3 years in Maplewood, the "oh NO, not XMAS Carols!!" town) but give it a bit of time... North Carolina, here we come!

"And this is from a guy who was born, raised and educated in the 'old' NYC school system."

What schools did you go to? I went to PS 40 and JHS 104 in Manhattan.
