There is a saying (slightly modified) I used with the MPs that I would train.

"Dumb MP (cop) usually equals dead MP (cop)"

I have learned to avoid cops at all times.

Noe these people have learned that lesson.

It used to be and I taught my children that the police were the friend of law abiding children. No more.

Now I teach my grandchildern to obey the laws but avoid any interaction with the police.

I will bet these police officers would not pull this crap on real criminals. This was the intent of the Framers to our US Constitution when they added the Bill of Rights. From what I can tell, these cops violated the spirit of just about each and every one of them. You can bet that CYA will be the only criteria of this investigation.

As an ex-cop, these gestapo squirrel cops need to be summarily dismissed from their jobs and the city sued for millions. Hopefully, this will occur.
